The one where readers take over the bookstore. ☕

A few of our Book Fair at Bel Air influencers got together to recreate a certain iconic opening scene and we could not be more excited about the results. They certainly understood the assignment! 🥰

Special shoutout to Cheryl at @lapetitemortbooks for letting us invade her store (did you spot her cameo?), Michelle @starrfirebookgirl for the idea, and @readwithkirs for her editing skills.

Books are better with friends. 💛

Join us on August 8 at APGFCU Arena for a day filled with books, authors, readers, vendors, photo ops, activities, and plenty of bookish fun.

Book Fair at Bel Air is coming August 8th and we are PACKING. 🌻

Three of your favorite book content creators are giving you the inside scoop on exactly what we're bringing to Bel Air this year, so if you're attending (or just dreaming about it), consider this your packing inspo.

From the must-haves to the "wait, why didn't I think of that" items, we're breaking it all down.

And yes, you'll see a crutch in my spread. Chronic illness doesn't stay home just because there's a book event, so I'm sharing what it actually looks like to attend as a spoonie, because ADA-accessible events like this one deserve to be celebrated, and so do the people showing up to them.

Follow along to see what we pack, how we prep, and what you might want to throw in your bag before August 8th.

Also look how GORGEOUS this special edition of Smoke and Mirrors is?! There are like 25 ILLUSTRATIONS INSIDE & I’m obsessed. Thank you JD for blessing my bookshelf with this beauty 😭😍

We’re excited to have Kirsten joining us as an official Book Fair at Bel Air influencer!

They’ll be helping us share the joy of reading and connect readers with books, authors, and community at this year’s fair.

Kirsten (@readwithkirs) is an avid reader and bookish content creator who is especially fond of swoon-worthy romance stories, lovable animal sidekicks, and bringing her favorite characters to life. Although she’ll read any book with a romance plot, her favorite subgenres are romantasy and western/cowboy romance.

Stay tuned for their content as we get closer to August 8! To learn more about all of the members of our influencer team, visit our website.

The part you don’t see: quiet precision, last-minute fixes, and a standard that doesn’t miss.

Working alongside the BCE glam team and creators is nothing less than spectacular!
