hiii, i thought since finishing my crescent city journey, it’s time to share a little bit about myself outside of that series so here’s my meet me in fives! 🥰

i’m way more of a tv series gal than a movie gal so i cheated and included probably far too many honorable mentions 🤣

i’m not drinking alcohol this year, but if i was, a crisp gin and tonic, glass of red or cheeky glass of champers might have also made an appearance on the drinks menu 🤭

i don’t really know what i was thinking going from crescent city, into sunrise on the reaping into a dark romance with no happy ever after, my poor heart can’t take it 😭😭

i love an emotionally damaging book but after finishing under your scars last night, i need a break from the heavy emotions 🤣 i think it’s time for a fluffy romance whilst we bide our time until ACOSH, possibly time to head back to briar u for dean and allie’s book? 🤭

what a week!! we finished my crescent city journey, took a short trip back to basgiath for threshing day and now we’re in panem catching up before the new hunger game film comes out next month 🤍

friday was consumed by my attempts at trying bond with a dragon!! after getting a dagger to the chest and then bbq’d by a red, third times a charm and bagged myself this swordtail beauty! everybody meet my baby, debroann or debs for short 🤭

and just like that my crescent city journey is over!!

i set myself a mini challenge of 35 pages a day so that i could read the whole CC series before ACOTAR 6, starting on 17th aug and i officially finished house of flame and shadow on monday!

if you’ve not read book 2 in this series yet and don’t want spoilers, then kindly like this post and scroll along please and thank you!! 😇

i loved this book for the crossover we got and to learn more about how the maasverse is connected. it was so fun to get snippets of some of our beloved characters from ACOTAR, but i was a little disappointed with the way the battle came together in the end and did feel a bit predicatable. it just didn’t have that emotional hit i was after, especially after book 1 in the series.

still a 5⭐️ read for me though because i still had a great time and i loveeee this world and bryce is my fav FMC out of the maasverse! i truly did not want my CC journey to come to an end because i was NOT expecting to love this series as much as i did! so so underrated and dare i say, better than ACOTAR 👀

i was in the home straight of my 35 pages of crescent city a day until acotar 6 last week!! if you haven’t read book 3 but plan to and don’t know anything about it, then i kindly request you like this post and then move along to avoid any spoilers!! 👀

but OMFGGG i am fucking eatinggg up every little crumb i get of azriel and of the acotar crossover!! the way that sjm has planned her universe has my mind blown and my brain is officially in overdrive theorising how all the worlds are eventually gonna come together!

if i had spare audiobook hours on spotify, i no doubt would have finished this last week but somewhat grateful i get to really enjoy each moment of this one 😌
