Do you plan a trip to the Dominican
Republic 🇩🇴?

Save this for your trip:

It is one of the only statues in the world dedicated to Lucifer. Most cities avoid such depictions but Madrid put it in the heart of the city.
It is located in Retiro Park and it is not even listed on many official tourist guides so many tourists do not notice it.
✨The statue shows the exact moment Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and it was created by sculptor Ricardo Bellver in 1877. When it first got unveiled it caused controversy, critics called inappropriate or blasphemous- yet the statue still stands today.

The location and the theme of the statue bring a lot of controversy … however, this is not the only statue of Lucifer that can be seen in Madrid. There’s another one, do you know where is the other?

Fairytale meets reality. Welcome to Sintra, Portugal’s most magical escape - where castles wear colors and time slows down.

Sintra is a perfect day trip from Lisbon however, you need to plan it ahead as it is a popular destination.
🎟️ buy the ticket for Pena Palace online as the tickets sold out quickly. There are two tickets, one for the interior of the castle and one for the garden.
👟Wear comfortable shoes (you’ll thank me)
🕐 if you want to avoid the crowds take the first train, departs Lisbon at 8AM
🚌 use tourist buses to get around Sintra ( Bus 434 and 435) - the cheapest way to visit most of the attractions - a 24 hours ticket costs €13.50
🚗 skip the car we traffic and parking is a nightmare

Save this post for your Sintra trip and stay prepared.

Do you plan a trip to Seychelles 🇸🇨?
Save this for your trip:

✨ Most nationalities don't need a visa, but an online travel authorization is mandatory, consider to apply for it quite a few days before your arrival otherwise you will have to pay a rush fee.
🥘 For affordable meals try local restaurants (takeaways).
⛴️ If you plan to visit more island via ferryboats, book your tickets in advance as the tickets quickly sold out.
🌦️ Be aware of the weather and water currents, as this can influence your experience a lot. Being close to the equator the temperature is usually constant throughout the year however the monsoons will influence your experience.
🚗 On Mahe there is public transportation however, you might want to rent a car but be aware that the driving is on left.
