🍓 @jont_dc x @on_berries 🍓event today! I’ve been craving fresh fruit so this couldn’t have come at a better time.

Jônt prepared the most DELICIOUS desserts with Gold Berries provided by On Berries. We are still thinking about the delicious choux featured in slide 4. Not pictured was a Strawberry Foie Gras donut that made me absolutely gasp.

📍 The Proximity Hotel

A Michelin 🗝️ recipient, this hotel was a beautiful place to rest my head on my recent work trip. It was very rainy and cold, but the staff was absolutely amazing helping with reservations and transport. The @printworksbistro_gso had delicious breakfast, and the hotel rooms were cozy.

📍 The French Laundry

We’ve finally crossed off our first Thomas Keller restaurant from our list — it lived up to its reputation.

We joined the team for their special Truffle and Caviar event. Service was stellar. Food was delicious. TK staples, the salmon tartare cornettes and oysters and pearls were incredible dishes, but the beef wellington was the standout of the evening.

To top it all off, buzzy, popular music plays, a clear juxtaposition to the fanciness of the meal!

📍 Inn at Perry Cabin

This is a longtime favorite of ours. We’ve been about 4 times, including for our honeymoon! It’s now an anniversary staple 🌸

The rooms at Perry Cabin do NOT disappoint. They’re an a fresh and clean East Coast vibe, elevated coastal decor. Service has always been friendly & efficient and we think of this place as old faithful: we always leave relaxed.

The spa is a slice of heaven. The tennis and sailing instructors are so talented and helpful (they had their work cut out for them with our lack of talent ☺️).

Now let’s get to the dining: Perry Cabin’s main restaurant is STARS, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We really enjoy STARS every time we dine there, and the view (as you can see here) can’t be beat.
