The most gut wrenching thing I would ever have to experience, losing my sister and bestfriend. Riley was my backbone through life and was the best sister I could have ever wanted. It brings me joy to know that so many people loved her and got to have the pleasure of knowing her. I’m so happy she had the friends she did and the best boyfriend who she adored and loved with all her heart. This is the hardest thing to go through and I keep wishing she’ll just walk through my door to be with me and this is just a really bad nightmare. I can’t stand to know she’s not here anymore and I can’t hear her beautiful voice. I love you Riley Anne Basford and I miss you. I know you’re riding the motorcycle of ur dreams up in heaven. by @reagan.basford

Today is what would’ve been your 24th birthday angel. But instead it is your 24th birthday, but in heaven this time. In a few months it will be 2 years without you. Miss you every single day, still think about the last day I saw them take you through those hospital doors to go out there and save many others lives. I know you got the best seat in the house getting to watch me graduate college, but I would’ve wanted to see you there too. I can’t wait for the day I get to see you again, you will always be my ribs. Love you Riley. (And you better be safe and riding that motorcycle in heaven.)🤍 by @reagan.basford
