to ESN, Spain, Europe, and a group of extraordinary people i met these past few months:

thank you for the laughs
the cultural education
the spanish lessons (HoLa)
the picnics

the travels
the train rides to and from madrid
and most importantly, memories that have changed the trajectory of my life and showing me love and light exceed any language barrier

the queen and the matriarchy of the fiser family has made her way back to 2 of her sons and my sweet grandaddy. loss is never fun and is never linear, but i find it difficult more so than anything to grieve her than to admire her lust for life and continue to live her legacy with all 7937492 members of the family💓💓💓💓

my favorite advice to live by from our forever 29 Harvey Fiser:
-take that trip! go to the oldest restaurant in the world! see those tulips!
-finish your meals with dessert (preferably ice cream) and heck, if you can, take a nap!
-always make a grand entrance to everywhere you go (fashionably late, while being fashionable, of course)
-love your neighbor as yourself
-make as many friends as you can in every place you are (no seriously, everywhere)
-write down the recipes for your favorite foods, any good food really, and share them with everyone
-chase like hell after everything you want to accomplish

grandmama,
you will be missed so dearly, and will most certainly never be forgotten. you incorporated so much into the shaping of who i am today. anyone who has met you has loved you, and i will continue every day for the rest of my time to make everyone i meet feel as loved as you’ve made everyone feel. we all love you so big🤍🤍 by @reaganfiser
