Cold start in cool weather. It sounds much better with a full 3" system and no catalytic converters😁 The audio in the video is a bit noisy, the trapezoidal sheet garage roof and the gate panels are resonating asf now😆 One thing I forgot to mention in my previous post, after installing the HKS mid-pipe and Whifbitz Y-pipe, the HKS Hi-Power cat-back system sits much higher now. This means the downward curving section of pipe before the muffler won't scrape the ground anymore. It’s incredible how much the cat-back system used to hang down when it was paired with the factory piping, much better clearance now.

So finally the Garage Whifbitz Y 1st decat ( 2"-2"=3" ) pipe and HKS 3" 2nd decat pipe was installed/attached to my existed HKS HI-Power 409 cat-back system. The sound is amazing. The idle is very low burble and at the limiter is still a very deep sound. No rasp and surprisingly very little drone in the interior. The video not the best, i think my phone is too close to the exhaust and maybe can't handle the very low sound. In person the limier is not this high note as the phone recorded. Again, no rasp at any rpm which i wanted 😄 I'm really happy with the result. And man without the cats the smell 🫠 like a gas station ⛽ love it 😁 Much louder too, but very sophisticated at idle so the neighbors don't want to kill me 🤣 Unfortunately i don't recorded when I started it with just the cast manifolds 🤣 Loud asf and at the limiter spitted long blue flames like crazy 🤣

I was sorting through the photos on my phone and found so many memes. I thought I’d share them in two parts 😆 Mostly Supra and JDM related memes. Part 2

Burning through almost two full tanks of ron 100 gas in a single day just for a joyride in this economy is wild 💀💸💸

What a deal that was back in 2017 🤯

Barely used Tein Super Street coilovers with EDFC adjustment motors, straight from Japan. I was lucky enough to acquire and import them at a ridiculously low price. They come with 14 kgf/mm springs in the front and 8 kgf/mm in the rear. Since the Tein EDFC motors are already installed, all I need is an EDFC controller to enable active stiffness (or rather, damping) adjustment on the fly 😄
I thinking about the last gen EDFC Active PRO controller with gps module. The lastest gen with AI is too pricey for me 😅
This will be a significant step up from my current Tein Street Advance Z dampers.
Thanks @mustra_performance for the import and the very good price! 🤝👌

Even if it’s naturally aspirated for now, I wanted a better sound. The current HKS Hi-Power system isn't bad, but the factory catalytic converters really hold it back. I picked up a Garage Whifbitz SUS304 1st decat Y-pipe (p&p very good quality).
Thanks to the material, it only needed a quick clean, and I cleaned the flange faces down to bare metal to ensure a perfect seal. However, the used HKS mid-pipe (second decat) was in pretty rough shape. Since it's made of SUS409 stainless steel, it really needs a coating (which is why HKS applies a ceramic coating to these pipes at the factory).
The previous owner had likely removed the original ceramic layer and sprayed it with cheap silver fireplace paint. That layer had baked on hard over the years, so getting it down to bare metal was quite a challenge. Afterward, I roughed up the surface slightly so the matte black high-heat paint would adhere properly. I think I got the best possible result out of it 😅
Since mine is naturally aspirated, the later added lambda sensor bung will remain plugged.
The last two photos show the HKS pipe in its starting state with the factory part number visible and after I finished the refurbishment. It’s like night and day.
I’ve included a few close-up shots of the heat-resistant surface, I really like the result.

Fun Fact: The J spec and US spec turbo (and probably NA too) jza80 Supra steering gear ratio is different. The J spec gear ratio is more suitable for the narrow, winding roads 🤓

Don't drive this thing enough 😩📉

Not your average track Supra. Very unique suspension design ( at least for a Supra) and great weight reduction ( now just a small boat 😆)
