The Making of Medusa 🐍💚🌿

Ever wondered what it takes to create a soulful outro that evokes the essence of the ancestors? Here’s a glimpse into how we achieved it.

With the help of my dear friends, we transformed Aaron’s bedroom into a space of subtle yet powerful grandeur. I envisioned Autumn’s voice piercing through the clouds, and Matthew delivered breathtaking ad-libs in one take! Aaron then worked his studio magic, giving the mix a cathedral-like acoustic quality.

The line, “I know that I deserve some version of crazy,” came to me while channeling how my mother was feeling at the time.

At the end of the video, you’ll see me channel every ounce of emotion and ancestry in my screams. It was a raw, cathartic release that took everything I had. Personally, I believe this outro is something truly special.
