X-MEN ‘97 S2 Nightcrawler Trading Card

“There is no faith without hope.”

Continuing the Season 2 character drops with Nightcrawler! It’s been so rewarding as a fan to see how much love the revival is pouring into Kurt. Giving him a bigger spotlight across S1 and S2 has added so much depth and emotional weight to the series.

Huge shoutout to @realadrianhough for continuing to deliver an unforgettable performance. He gives Kurt the exact heart, faith, and humor that make us fall in love with the character all over again!

Had a great time at @connecticon today!
I met @realcaldodd , Wolverine! I drew a picture of the famous Wolverine meme of him and the picture frame, replacing Logan’s face with Cal’s! He seemed very impressed with it and he even took a picture with his phone! I’ll have to draw him another one and figure out how to send it to him.
I then met @realadrianhough , Nightcrawler! I told him how he’s always been my favorite character in X-Men as even in the comics he is the soul of the team and brings everyone back from the edge. He told me he screamed when he first saw the animation of the sword fight and teleportation scenes. I also met @aj_locascio who voiced Gambit. I had not realized he voiced Marty in the BTTF game and so obviously I had to get a signature on the BTTF picture. He even sounded like Marty when he recreated a scene. I was honored to meet the legend Billy West, who voiced so many characters. I asked him to do Ren and Stimpy and it was so cool to hear. He did Doug shortly before my turn. I also got to meet @dannytamberelli who was Arnold in the Magic School Bus! I bought a book@and hit his signature, very nice guy. Final picture is of “Marty McFly” who I’ve met before at the convention and somehow always bump into no matter how many people are there. by @realadrianhough

After seeing the official X-Men ’97 Season 2 designs, I had to draw the team in the show’s incredible art style. I loved bringing Havok, Polaris, Multiple Man, Strong Guy, and Wolfsbane together and giving them the animated look.
