Don’t you just hate it when you’re getting into a great book and there’s a DJ blasting out tunes in the background…
… you can forgive him though when he’s the book’s author and your bandmate 🤣

I’m back on @absoluteradio tonight from 10pm until midnight playing some of my all time favourite records. I’m doing the show for the next five weeks. On tonight’s show, Elvis, Julian Cope, @futureislands @rem. New music from @interpol @fontainesband @dmasmusic & @inspiral_carpets. I’ll also be playing a new track from a brilliant upcoming singer from Manchester called @lilyraegrant who will take your breath away! Tune in and let me know what you think of the music I’ll be sharing. See you in a bit xxx taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @realclintboon

INSPIRAL CARPETS / VICTORIA WAREHOUSE, MANCHESTER / 2026

Ace to shoot @inspiral_carpets live last night at @o2vicwarehousemanc
Been a big honour to be involved in the visual campaign for their Burn Like The Sun album , due January next year, so it was a buzz i got to tick off the live box for that roll out too.
The new songs sound so good, fit into the set perfectly.

Thanks to the band and @scruffoftheneck / @mark_lippmann for their trust again in me to do my thing and point my camera in their direction. GREAT people. GREAT gig.

@realclintboon had a few stories to tell. Naturally, we had to get him back on the mic...

We took over The Vault at @kimptonclocktower to celebrate the launch of Clint’s new book, The Manchester Chronicles: True Tales of Music, Madness and Mayhem 1976–2006, with a very special live recording of We Built This City.

From punk and Madchester to rave, Britpop and everything in between, Clint’s new book charts three decades of Manchester music, told by someone who was right there in the middle of it.

A little nostalgia, plenty of laughs, some brilliant stories and a room full of people who love Manchester as much as we do❤️

A huge thank you to Clint, Kimpton Clocktower Hotel and everyone who joined us and made the night such a special one. Stay tuned for the full episode!

This is how it feels… a ‘Greater’ Manchester homecoming for the Inspirals with a fantastic show on the 2nd date of their massive tour with @thewonderstuffofficial.
Both bands were ace and the night finished off with a return to down ‘South’ (IYKYK) at the aftershow with spinning the wheels of steel.
Moo! 🐄
