An open invitation to join us for this iteration of Embracing Embodiment ✨

Each session starts with a check-in, followed by a juicy yin class that will support our well-being according to the TCM paradigm (season-organs-emotions), and we’ll wrap up with an artistic exploration of what needs to express itself externally through materials. We end our sessions with a sharing and reflection, which allows us to feel heard, supported and be deeply witnessed.

Our group can incorporate 3 or 4 more ladies for this year. It’s a closed format group, which means that you’ll see the same faces each time. When we feel comfortable, we can let our guards down and connect with the real. We run through June, and our first sessions starts this Friday 16/10. (Because I’m late on advertising, new participants are welcome to join until 06/11!) We’d be so honoured to have you join us. by @realisingtheinbetween

👋Hi! Welcome to Realising the Inbetween! I'm Rhea, the founder of RTI. I figured it was time to really share my mission and vision with the wider public, especially for those of you who don’t know me personally.

I spent a long time feeling like I didn’t belong anywhere. I always had friends, but I never felt like I had community, especially growing up in Bermuda.

Living and studying in Spain with mostly women changed that for me. I finally experienced what I had been longing for: groups of women who could and would hold space for me to drop into deep feeling and not use those vulnerabilities against me. It was heart-healing 🩷

When we gathered, it felt wholesome, uplifting, and radically different than my experiences back home in Bermuda.

Every woman should get to experience belonging. To be loved deeply by women who remind you of your beauty, who hold you accountable to your truth and your authenticity, and who call you into your fullest self.

That is why I carry this as a mission: to be a torchbearer of womanhood. From a place of deep gratitude for the sisters who showed me how to accept love and love myself, I now create spaces of safety and belonging - the spaces I once so desperately needed.

I want women to know: you are never too much, and you are never not enough. Your unique expression is welcomed, necessary, and honoured.

In a culture that teaches us to compete, to shrink, to hide, just showing up authentically, allowing yourself to be seen in your humanness, is a radical act of self-love. And creating authentic connection and community, instead of competition, is one of the most powerful rebellions we can make.

And this is what Realising The Inbetween is for 🩷 This is a space for women to come home to themselves and to feel alive... through art, breath and movement.

I'm so looking forward to meeting you at one of our events, or in a private session. If you're curious, drop me a DM 📩 by @realisingtheinbetween

A trauma smoothie bowl from us to yous. Because how can we expect you to be vulnerable with us if we don’t go first?! If you couldn’t tell (😅) we’re F A R from being self-actualized humans who have everything figured out. In a fast, loud world, we’re in constant practice of slowing down to hear our inner truths. It sometimes gets messy! And then it gets better and then messy again. No such thing as perfect on this side friends 🌀

But this season, we’re being asked to notice:

-Where we’ve abandoned our own pace
-Where we’ve been chasing instead of tending
-Where we’ve held onto things that no longer fit

That’s what our workshop EMBERS is about. It’s a space where we can slow down so we can actually sense our inner worlds. We’ll practice through movement, art-making, and community sharing.

Come sit by the fire with us on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD from 11am-2pm 🫶 DM Angie/Rhea to join!

Where: Old Berkeley building (22 Berkeley Road, Pembroke) by @realisingtheinbetween

❣️NEW DATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 from 11am-2pm

Hey friends! We had a check-in with eachother and felt that the days in September are still long and it feels like summer. So instead of forcing the timing, it felt right to postpone our gathering.

Our fall equinox gathering will now take place on SAT, OCT 3 when the season has had a little more time to settle in. It honestly feels like the perfect way to practice what this workshop is all about.

What this workshop is about: as much as we’ve loooooved summering, autumn is inviting us to slow down and turn inwards. And maybe theres a part of you that’s holding on to relationships, an identity, to certainty or maybe just the pace of summer. Whatever you’re carrying, it’s welcome in this space. EMBER is a 3-hour gathering where we’ll explore somatic movement, art making and community sharing. No experience needed. Just bring your curious selves 💓

DM Rhea/Angie to join. Wed love to spend this season with you! by @realisingtheinbetween

But fr though, as much as we have loooved summering, our bodies are shifting us to move slower, go inwards, and conserve our energy.

And in order to do that, we’re gonna need some courage to loosen our grip, let a season end, sit with uncertainty, and maybe face some of the parts of ourselves we’d rather run away from. But we don’t have to do it alone.

This fall equinox, were gathering in community to slow down, move, make art and explore what it means to transition into a new season together.

Join us SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 from 11AM-2PM for a free-flow movement & art making gathering (all supplies included)

We’d love to have you there! DM Angie or Rhea to join 🧡🫶 by @realisingtheinbetween

A recap from our last Nature of Being series workshop on June 21 where we explored ALIVENESS.

It was filled with moments of making art, dancing, jamming, talking, processing, feeling, wiggling, shaking, flowing. We hope you get the chance to remember your aliveness and allow others to hold you in that. Bc we’re not meant to journey alone BBG! 😘

Reliving these shared moments has us feeling so alive. We’re so grateful to everyone who came. We love youuu!

See you at the next one in September 🫶

For the ones who have mindful practices that might not look like the traditional practices we’ve been taught.

We see you and we’re calling you in to join us on SATURDAY, JUNE 20th for another workshop where we can land, move, and make art for liberation & aliveness. Because we need you and each other in your own version of aliveness ❤️ soooo excited to share this space with you

What to bring: clothes to move in & hydration of choice
Saturday, June 20th at the Old Berkeley building
DM Rhea or Angie to join by @realisingtheinbetween

If your social feeds look anything like ours, then maybe you resonate with the feeling of slipping into moments of overwhelm and hopelessness 🫠

That’s why, when planning this workshop, we knew how important it was to prioritize HOPE, ALIVENESS, and CONNECTION during these times. To practice being fully alive with what’s real for us, together. Because we need you and each other ❤️

As a reminder, the Nature of Being workshops are a seasonal community workshop series for women where we move and make art, so we can embody and create the new worlds we’re dreaming of together.

ALL LEVELS WELCOME

What to bring: soft clothes to move in + hydration of choice

Hopefully we’ll see you for ALIVENESS on Saturday, June 20th at the Old Berkeley building

Last week’s workshop marked one year of TNoB. One full year of a commitment to honour moving with the seasons, to recognize how this change is reflected in me , my desires and behaviour. One year of living more in alignment and allowing my body to soften and embrace its cyclicality.

It’s been a year of co-creating, too! Of learning what equity looks like in authentic, aligned partnership that is nurturing professionally and personally.

It’s been a year of meeting women who yearn for sacred spaces, to express their lived experience through the creative arts process and of establishing a community of belonging and trust.

I’m ever so grateful and looking forward to how this space continues to unfold. by @realisingtheinbetween

A little bit of magic from our workshop last weekend! In our late solstice celebration we honoured the parts of ourselves that are asking to bloom this spring time, and paid homage to the rebirth of the feminine that is currently taking place in the collective. What would we desire for women everywhere to have access to? And how can we embody the energy of allowing, honouring and inviting the messy, the imperfect, the sacred rage, the need for safety, the desire to play, of connecting with our voices and our sensuality, especially for the women who do not have access to these freedoms at the moment.

We danced, and painted and created a sacred alter! We held hands and laughed and cried.

We come together knowing thar this is the new, old way of being, and we are honoured to be able to assist en energetically ushering it through the threshold.

So very grateful to see our community taking shape. Thank you to all the woman who continue to create this sacred space together 🩷 ✨ by @realisingtheinbetween

Excited to share that we have an upcoming workshop on SAT MARCH 28 @11am-2pm ⚡️💖

Have you been feeling it, too?

The rebirth of the feminine principal and the call to step over the threshold to invite in new-old ways of being. A whispering of a remembering, and of veneration. Feeling yourself on the precipice of the flow of change, unsure of how to left that energy that’s waiting to ripple through you, create waves of change through collective.

On this special iteration of TNoB, we come together in sacred honouring and recognition of the pulsating force within you that feels the urge to collaborate in birthing the new world.

We call these authentic parts forward through ritual, expressive movement, and art making to support the emergence of this sacred energy, ready to emerge from the shadows.

If you are feel in your bones a longing to mark this transition, and bring these pieces of you to the forefront of your conscious mind in a way that honours the medicine that moves through you, let us step over the threshold and welcome this new-old way of being together.

A glimpse of December’s winter solstice gathering, The Nature of Being: a return to stillness.

Ushering in the energy of slowness, touching the depths of darkness and feeling the aliveness that lives there; our movements were slow and languid, creating spaces of openness and surrendering to body’s wisdoms that whispered of the need to drop into stillness and welcome the wisdom of rest.

Much like the rebirth of the sun that happens at solstice time, we explored charcoal through an inverse technique, to coax, that wanted to emerge through the dark.

We’re always so touched by the beauty that happens when we are given space to feel our bodies from the inside out. How with each share, we see one another and are reminded of our connectedness.

Gratitude for this moment to connect with one another. We continue to be inspired by your courage to turn inward and to mark this passing of time together.

Stay tuned to join our next gathering in March for the Spring Equinox 🌱 by @realisingtheinbetween
