Paper Thin.

A study on breaking dimensions. The inspiration came from wanting to create an optical paradox where a character steps out of a flat, miniature cardboard landscape and crashes right into a full-sized space.

Making the background out of paper represents how fragile a staged environment really is. The second you outgrow a flat routine, you have to violently rip right through the cardboard sky. Breaking the frame because crashing into a raw reality is the only way to prove you’ve actually broken free.

A piece on retro-futurism and old habits. Long before everything went digital and online, gaming was a physical space you shared with someone else in a room full of tangled wires.

Building the controller larger-than-life because that’s exactly how massive those worlds felt to us as kids. The moss growing over the buttons represents the ultimate test of time, showing a love for a system that keeps growing even after the technology is long forgotten. It's about turning a dead piece of plastic into a living, breathing monument where the core memories never stop flowing.

Tearing down the logic of the city. I wanted to build a scene where geography and physics just completely quit working. A traffic pole planted on a roof, a bent-up rim, and a surfer who is entirely out of his element. It’s about that trippy feeling of looking out your window and realizing the background rendered completely wrong today.

A study on digital invasion. It’s about the paranoia of feeling like your life is constantly being inspected, monitored, and broken down into data. Treating a physical room like an interactive screen where giant cursors can just swarm your private space, right-click your identity, and look at your properties.

The inspiration for this came from realizing how easy it is to isolate yourself once you finally get what you’ve been chasing. The blacked-out suit isn't about being cool, it’s about disappearing. It’s that specific feeling of hiding in plain sight, sitting by a pool with a million dollars trapped under the water, completely untouchable and completely alone.
