10 years ago, I married my best friend.

By God’s grace, we’ve built a beautiful life together, raised two incredible girls, and shared more blessings than we deserve.

From Herrington on the Bay to Hammock Bay, it’s been quite an adventure.

Fridays are for fishing 🎣

We hooked into some solid slot Reds today, but they definitely made us earn it. Nothing easy about this bite, which made it that much more fun. Had a great time on the water with my buddy Craig and his son Ethan making memories and chasing fish.

Love It or Leave It: Freeport 👏

Love it. No question.

Freeport is one of the most overlooked spots on the map right now, and that is exactly why people are paying attention. You’re about 15 minutes from 30A, but the vibe is completely different. More space. More new construction. More room to grow.

This market feels a lot like Niceville before everyone caught on. Growth is happening fast, and you can see it everywhere. New neighborhoods, new homes, and more buyers looking for value without giving up convenience.

You’ve got bay access, a quieter pace, and yes, even 30A Tacos delivery. Hard to argue with that.

Not to be dramatic but this is how buyers go house poor in 2026 👀

House hunting is fun until the math starts mathing and suddenly you are wondering how your dream home is swallowing your bank account.

Here are the traps everyone falls for
➡️Budgeting for the mortgage but forgetting taxes HOA and utilities 💸
➡️ Emptying savings at closing then paying for repairs on a card with twenty one percent interest 🔧
➡️ Financing every piece of furniture because zero percent sounded cute 🛋️
➡️ Skipping a buyer consult and missing the hidden fees and future developments 🚧

The bottom line. Buying a home should be exciting not financially chaotic. Working with the right buyer agent keeps you prepared protected and not crying over your bank app.
