Events been over…
but your vision for 2026 is just getting started.

Now’s not the time to coast.
Now’s the time to lock in. 🔒
Dial the focus.
Get ruthless with distractions.
Do the work that future you is counting on.

This next season belongs to the disciplined, the obedient, the builders who don’t quit when the room gets quiet.

April is the next workshop.

We lean not on our own understanding,
and God makes our paths straight.

But paths don’t move unless we do.

Faith isn’t sitting still.
Faith takes steps.

What action are you avoiding today?

The day came.
And just like that… it’s gone.

But hear me—God is moving.

Mind Your Business 3 wasn’t an event.
It was confirmation.

Confirmation that business is ministry.
That profit has purpose.
That we will not separate faith from leadership.

Our vision is simple:
1,000,000 businesses run as ministries.

It starts with stewardship—
mind, body, spouse, children first.
Then work, community, and the reach God gives you.

And growth requires accountability.
Real community.
Real standards.
Real action.

I told Bryce, and I’ll tell you:

Whether the oil is flowing or the olives are being crushed—
let me be so rooted in Jesus I can’t tell the difference.

This isn’t hype.
Jesus isn’t a trend.
He’s King of Kings. Lord of Lords.

Next workshop is coming.
If you feel that pull—don’t ignore it.

Let’s make HIS Kingdom come.
See you soon. by @realjohnhuffman

LANDED A 41.5” snook! There is nothing like the feeling of catching a true trophy snook.

This one stretched 41 1/2 inches, caught on a 3K medium rod with the one and only Captain Socrates out of Crystal River.

Let me tell you something. Captains like him don’t just take anybody on their boat. They have earned their reputation by putting people on fish, and I don’t take one second of that opportunity for granted.

When I say I’m blessed and highly favored, I mean it. God has given me a business that creates freedom instead of stealing it. In the middle of the week, I was able to step away from work and make a memory I’ll never forget. That’s always been the goal. Not just to build a business, but to build a life where faith comes first, family matters, and there’s room to enjoy the blessings God has entrusted to us.

Watch until the end. The excitement is real.

After that fight, I checked my Oura Ring… it said I was doing martial arts.

Honestly, it wasn’t wrong. by @realjohnhuffman

It may feel like your blessing is delayed.

I've had seasons where I wondered the same thing.

Looking back, I can see that some of those waiting seasons weren't wasted. They were the seasons where I learned stewardship, patience, and the kind of leadership I couldn't have learned any other way.

The truth is, if God entrusts us with more before we're ready to steward it well, it can become a burden instead of a blessing.

Don't despise the season you're in.

Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep being faithful with what's already in your hands.

A strong foundation doesn't happen overnight.

And when the opportunity comes, you'll be grateful God prepared you before He promoted you.

One of my favorite sayings is, “Favor ain’t fair.”

The older I get, the more I realize that’s not about me. It’s about the goodness of God.

I don’t take it lightly that I’ve been able to fish with captains like Captain Soc, Captain Tyler, Captain Chris Argiro, Captain Chris Broome, Captain Tanner Ison, Captain Jimmy Wheeler, Captain Garrett, and so many others who have poured thousands of hours into mastering their craft. I honor them because what they do isn’t luck. It’s time, discipline, sacrifice, and consistency.

This weekend, one of the best captains in Crystal River put me on multiple 40-inch snook in a single trip. Then my wife landed a 43½-inch snook. Absolutely unreal.

Moments like that remind me that when you put God first, love your family well, stay faithful in ministry, and work with excellence, the blessings show up in places you never expected. Sometimes they show up in your marriage. Sometimes they show up in your business. Sometimes they show up standing on the deck of a boat in the middle of the week.

Put in your 10,000 hours.

Ten thousand hours in your marriage.
Ten thousand hours in your business.
Ten thousand hours in your craft.
Ten thousand hours learning, growing, and refusing to stop getting better.

Thank you to every captain and every angler who’s invested in me over the years. I don’t take a single trip for granted.

If you’re looking at this thinking, “Man, that’s the dream,” I want to encourage you.

It’s not just a dream.

It’s alignment. It’s obedience. It’s faithfulness over time.

If you want to know what I mean, reach out. I’d love to share more. by @realjohnhuffman

If you're carrying the weight of a business, you know what most people never see.

Making payroll. Serving customers. Solving problems. Making decisions that affect not only your family, but the families of the people who depend on you.

That's a responsibility not everyone is willing to carry.

I've learned that the journey isn't supposed to be easy. The hard seasons are often where God teaches us the most about leadership, stewardship, and perseverance.

So if you're in one of those seasons today, don't lose sight of why you started.

Keep showing up. Keep growing. Keep trusting God with what He's placed in your hands.

The weight is real, but so is the opportunity to build something that outlives you.

That's a journey worth respecting.

"I'll just handle it myself."

That might be the most expensive sentence a business owner can say.

I know because I've said it more times than I'd like to admit.

For a long time, I believed nobody could do it as well as I could. And maybe that was true for a season. But if everything depends on you, your business will only grow as far as your time and energy allow.

Real leadership isn't about doing everything yourself.

It's about developing people.

That means teaching, documenting, coaching, and being willing to let someone else learn. They may not do it exactly the way you would at first, but they'll never grow if you never let them try.

The goal isn't to be the hero in your business.

The goal is to build a business that doesn't need one.

That's when you stop owning a job and start leading a company.

If you're building a business that's changing your family's future, you're already doing something most people only talk about.

You didn't wait for permission. You stopped making excuses. And when things got hard, you chose to keep going instead of walking away.

That doesn't mean it was easy.

It means you decided your future was worth fighting for.

I've learned that a business is about more than revenue.

It's about creating opportunities for your family, serving people well, and leaving something behind that outlives you.

That's legacy.

Not just what you build.

But how you build it, who you become in the process, and the lives you impact along the way.

Keep building. Stay faithful. Steward it well.

That's the kind of legacy that lasts.

The right path isn't always the fastest.

It's the one that lets you keep your faith, your character, and your integrity.

I've learned there are plenty of shortcuts in business. You can cut corners, compromise your values, or chase quick wins.

But eventually, every shortcut sends you a bill.

I'd rather build slower and sleep well at night than grow fast by becoming someone I was never called to be.

God isn't asking us to build the biggest business.

He's asking us to be faithful with what He's entrusted to us.

Protect your name. Keep your word. Do the right thing even when nobody is watching.

Because at the end of the day, success isn't measured only by what you built.

It's measured by who you became while building it.

Yesterday I talked about mastering your craft. The 10,000-hour rule. The reality is, mastery doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of consistently sowing into what matters.

Marriage is no different.

You can’t sow everything into work and expect to reap a thriving marriage. Whatever you neglect eventually shows.

So today, it’s just me and my pumpkin head. Holding hands, listening to Boyz II Men, and investing in us. Because the greatest things in life don’t grow by chance—they grow by intention.

Build the business. Chase the calling. But don’t forget to date your spouse along the way. One day you’ll realize the greatest investment you ever made wasn’t the money—it was the person sitting beside you. by @realjohnhuffman

Yesterday at Speak Life, we were reminded that the words we speak matter, especially the ones we’ve been avoiding.

You’ve got a hard conversation sitting on your chest right now. You know exactly which one.

The employee you should have let go six months ago.
The customer you need to fire.
The price you need to raise.
The partner you need to confront.

Every day you avoid it, the conversation gets heavier and your business gets weaker.

Avoidance can feel like peace. But it’s not peace. It’s a slow leak.

Sometimes, the bravest thing a leader can do is have the conversation everyone else already knows needs to happen.

Speak life. Speak truth. Do it kindly. Do it directly. But do it.

This week.

Comment with the first letter of the person you need to talk to. Just the letter. We’ll be praying for you.
