POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve never had the makings of a varsity athlete.

At least, not the way people expect.
They see the headlines, the interviews, the cameras.

But they don’t see the panic attacks before games, the nightmares on away trips, the crushing weight of trying to look “tough” when I’m falling apart inside.

I’ve been asked if I still have it in me.
Truth is—I ask myself the same thing.
I’ve tried to speak up, only to be told that greatness stays silent. That emotion is weakness.

But behind closed doors, I’m just human.
And I’ve learned that being human doesn’t make me less—it makes me real.
So this season, I’m stepping back.
Not giving up—growing.
Not quitting—choosing me.
I’ve never had the makings of a varsity athlete.

And that’s exactly why I’ll build my own.
One shot away from a future I believe in

We are beyond excited to announce that Kaden Collins and his team Louisiana Bears are headed to this year’s @thebhfilmfest for <Three Angles>! A narrative short about our main character, Kaden Collins, a college junior basketball player who gets trapped in his hotel room the night before his big game.

The film focuses on Athlete mental health, a subject that so many care about and yet still needs so much more attention and highlight amd we are all here for it. So let’s talk! 🙌

Couldn’t be more grateful for the festival for giving us the opportunity to spread awarness on such important topic. See you at the TCL chinese theatre Aprill 12-19th!
