I look so nervous in this picture because I was literally trying not to cry. Complex Simplicity came out when I was going into my senior year of highschool on my way to college. I was so depressed and crying out for help and this album carried me even through college. This album literally saved my life on days I felt like giving up on it. Shout out to @sistersong_woc for throwing an amazing event. Make sure you support them they’re doing amazing things for black women. @teedramoses by @reallifecee
