Our kids need to know they can come to us even when they’re scared, confused, or think they’ll get in trouble. Listen without shaming them. Respect their boundaries. Pay attention to who has access to them, in person and online.

No friendship, relationship, or family reputation should ever come before a child’s safety.

Tell them often: “I love you. I’m here. You can tell me anything. If someone hurts you, it is never your fault.” ❤️
