Please allow me some grace in this video. This was hard to deliver because I am close with the Hanna siblings & of course my Sorority Sister & FAMU college roommate, Glenda has been my sister & friend for 36 years. Glenda’s baby brother, #Chris Hanna has been missing since November 4, 2025. This is an unfortunate update. 2 suspects have been charged and arrested. Keep in mind that Kimberly Chaffin & Antoine Kennedy have NOT been convicted. We will hope that Justice is given to The Hanna Family. Chris leaves behind his wife, his daughter and 2 sons. Along with his mother, and 3 siblings. Along with several nieces & nephews & cousins. The siblings grew up on the Southside of Chicago. Christopher Hanna, father, husband, brother and son has been missing for almost 12 days. He was supposed to take his son to school after working overnight in Forest Park, GA-but he never showed up that morning. We need your help. (It’s a filter…🥴🙃😉)Me trying to explain that my Richardsons branch of my family were Freedman and were not victims of chattel slavery and were also cousins who married cousins sometimes. 🥴Anytime that you have family members listed on the US Census before 1870, they were free. Friends, we started with Haywood Richardson, my Great-Great Grandfather-and he took us down through it! If you’ve forgotten some parts, go back through Chapter 1 for a refresher. Now it’s time for Chapter 2, the siblings and kids of Haywood Richardson. Before we start that-please know that I will circle back to how Blacks in the US have been denied their Native American heritage & history. But the comments needed some healing! Lol folks were going hard about that, and I get it. So we will come back. But right now, my spirit needs the healing of a good story. So let’s continue with Haywood’s close family. Saltines and soft butter was one of me and my Grandma’s favorite snacks that we shared together. Who knew that so many of you would share the same memories as children. Thanks for sharing your memories, and allowing me to share mine. I do my #FamilyTree for a number of reasons. One of the first is to honor both of my Grandmothers. They both shared our family history with me, they indulged my continuous questions, they showed me pictures, they took me on trips down south. Knowing my family history is valuing all of the individuals that had to come together to make lil ole me!
