To our sweet Baker,

We still have a little while before we get to meet you, but your dad and I already love you more than words can say. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but I know the moment I get to hold you, every second will have been worth it.

I can’t wait to watch Tennie become a big sister and to see our family grow. I look forward to Christmas mornings, family vacations, birthdays, and all the memories we’ll make together. My prayer is that you and your sister grow up close, always supporting and loving each other through every season of life, while keeping faith at the center.

We are so grateful God chose us to be your parents. October can’t come soon enough!

Happy 18 months with the love of our life.

They weren’t lying when they said this is the age when the words really start coming—almost overnight, her vocabulary tripled! She is funny, sweet, rambunctious, and sometimes very fussy lol, but every bit of her is pure joy.
We love you more than words can say, sweet girl. You amaze us every day, and watching you grow is our greatest privilege.

Middle TN Ice Storm: I don't think people fully understand the damage caused by this storm. Especially in Northwest Franklin, Southwest Davidson Co, Cheatham Co area. Our Neighbor's home was completely gutted by fire this AM. We are praying ours isn't next because we have wires on the ground the ground still touching the house wrapped up in trees and the power company refuses to disconnect the main line. Streets all across the area are impassible. Praying for our neighbors and others across the region. A true natural disaster. taken in Franklin, Tennessee by @realmrlotfi
