How many pages I read in 1 hour on a lazy Sunday afternoon ✨

First read of 2026 is Crescent City! I've been waiting to start this for SO long - I'm excited despite the slight panic at the amount of names/places/info already

If you've read CC - tell me one thing (spoiler free) that I won't understand until I'm further in 📚

December reading update!
I finally stopped avoiding KOA and let it destroy me. We can't say I wasn't fairly warned but 🥹
Straight onto two new finds from a new (to me) author and I loved these! Both somehow cosy yet spooky, super easy and hooking reads.

I'm torn on where to go next - recs welcome! (<400 pages pls, so close to my reading goal despite all of the huge books I've read this year!)

What's a book you loved recently and would recommend? by @realmsandreveries

In my 'two jobs but my reading goal won't hit itself' era 📚

Here's what I got through this week - one tired girlie page at a time, across lunch breaks, in bubble baths, and my nightly ritual of falling asleep with my kindle in my hand.
(I'd usually include my audiobooks buttt I'm just not vibing with either of them currently 😶)

What's your current read, and how's it going? 🫶🏻 by @realmsandreveries

Brimstone drops in 2 DAYS and you've forgotten everything that happened in Quicksilver? SAME.
So here's a recap for anyone diving back in on the 18th!

Spoiler-packed and full of 'ohhh yeahhh' moments for my fellow read-and-forgetters.

Swipe, save and scream with me in the comments! How hyped are you for Brimstone? 🔥 by @realmsandreveries

My 10 before the end ✨
As a mood reader this was tricky but here's my current read, alongside some I've had on my TBR for a while and others that grabbed my attention more recently.
Not sure if I'm being optimistic or fully delulu about hitting my reading goal at this point but we moveee...

Do we have any of the same reads planned? I'm open to suggestions on what to read next! 📚

October slipped a way in a blur of rain and routine anddd somehow it's November 🥺

A new month feels a bit like a deep breath to me when things have been feeling heavy. I'm excited to reset, breathe and just try again with some routines, renovations and taking more steps towards my goals.

What are you hoping for more (or less) of this month? 🍂

If you loved Throne of Glass and/or One Dark Window, Daughter of No Worlds might just become one of your favourite reads of the year (probably before you've even finished it.)

I didn't want to put this down! It made me laugh, cry and kick my feet and I only got more invested the further in I got. An epic fantasy with a perrrfect slow burn romance subplot. 🔥

Tisaanah is an incredible fmc; fierce and determined but with such a vulnerable and warm heart. It was so refreshing to see the romance emerging with time and genuine friendship and connection - their banter was hilarious and their quiet comfort so beautiful.

Run, don't walk. Revenge is alive, and hungry. 🖤 by @realmsandreveries

A soft Sunday reset to set the tone for a busy week ✨

Not every Sunday looks like this but as an ND teacher with two jobs, I try hard to make them my reset days so future me will thank me. Cleaning, tidying, planning and general self-care (with plenty of reading breaks, ofc 📖).

I spent most of the weekend resting to get rid of this nasty cold so I'm glad I was able to get all of this done today - and I've nearly finished my current read (Daughter of No Worlds) which is SO good and just keeps getting better!

How do you like to end or start your week? I hope it's a kind one 🫶🏻 by @realmsandreveries

Enemies to lovers romantasy with a slow-burn love, found family and a strong FMC 🗡️

I thought this was going to be super predictable at first but it kept surprising me and had me hooked!

I loved Thea and Wilder's personal and relationship growth, and the much needed light moments with the goofy but loyal side characters. There was such a strong thread of resilience and sacrifice the entire way through which kept me rooting for Thea until the end.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ - it took me a while to get through these but I enjoyed and would recommend them! Now to sort through my absolute mountain of a TBR 📚

I'm open to suggestions (pls help lol), which book/series would you make me read next if you could? by @realmsandreveries

Hi, i’m Jay 👋
Daydreamer with a slightly chaotic tbr and a habit of converting my friends into fantasy readers ✨

Realms & reveries is my little corner to share book recs, reflections and the occasional overexcited gush — from romantasy standalones to sprawling high fantasies 🌙

Always searching for worlds to ruin me beautifully and characters I'd follow into battle.
