Spring rolled in slow, soft, and slightly suspicious. Otis had already dropped two heavy rounds of grooves this year, it was time for a breather. Hoodie on, satchel half-zipped, he parked himself on a quiet bench in the city’s green lungs. Just a book, a breeze, and birds chirping like synth glitches.

But peace never lasts for a proper courier. A wide-eyed, hyper-focused dog came into play. Mouth gripped tight around a record.

Otis looked up, unfazed. He’d seen this type before. With a slow stretch, Otis took the vinyl from the dog’s jaws and gave it a spin between two claws. This wasn’t just any delivery, this one needed to be heard.

As the groove unfolded, the park shifted. Heads nodded. Shoulders bounced. A jogger changed tempo. Even the birds started syncing up.

High in the mountains, with snowflakes falling like scattered notes, Otis geared up for a mission unlike any other. Strapped to his snowboard, vinyls packed tight, it carved through fresh powder - on a mission to drop tunes, not just altitude.

But something was.. off. Every stop brought the same vibe: après-ski anthems and Flügel shots. This wasn’t the vibe Otis was carrying. Not yet.

Determined, he pushed higher, through icy winds and hidden trails - until he found it. A quiet cabin tucked away, smoke curling from the chimney. Inside, a crackling fire and a turntable waiting for something different.

One smooth needle drop, and the room got filled with stripped-back music, exactly what was missing from the mountain air. Mission complete.

Noosepaper delivers again. Fresh cuts on “Assume You’re OK EP”, straight from the slopes.

At the break of dawn, a quiet buzz stirred in Noosepaper HQ. A fresh batch of records. Somewhere between a stretch and a purr, Otis - clad in his signature messenger bag - sprang into action.

Hopping onto his bike, he sped down cobblestone streets, weaving through the town’s morning hustle. First stop? The Vinyl Café, where the barista smiled as the young cat tossed a record onto the counter with precision. Next, a record store window, where curious passersby stopped to marvel as the record spun itself into place.

With one final leap, Otis reached his last stop: your feed. The record lands softly, and the journey begins.

This is “Moonside Swing EP”, the next installment from Noosepaper.

🐾 Out on Bandcamp for the diggers, Spotify for the listeners.
