URGENT: JUSTICE AND TRANSPARENCY FOR CHRISTIAN MCKNIGHT 🚨

On July 5, 2026, Christian McKnight was reportedly assaulted while in the custody of the New York City Department of Correction at Rikers Island. His family has received multiple eyewitness accounts describing serious violence, and they remain deeply concerned about his injuries, medical treatment, and safety.

His family is demanding:

• Immediate OUTSIDE medical care
• Preservation of all surveillance footage
• Preservation of incident reports and medical records
• A full, transparent investigation
• Accountability for anyone responsible

Christian is a husband, son, brother, friend, and human being. No one should be denied proper medical care or protection while in custody.

We are calling on elected officials, community leaders, journalists, and advocates to help this family get answers.

The man on the right is my husband. The man on the left is also my husband— two photos of the same man.

A son. A brother. A husband. A friend. A human being. The only difference is the days in between what happened to him while in the custody of the New York City Department of Correction.

Since the evening of July, 5th, 2026 we have received multiple eyewitness accounts alleging that Christian was brutally assaulted by correction officers while restrained inside Rikers Island. Those accounts describe violence so disturbing that witnesses feared he would not survive. If these allegations are true, no person should ever be subjected to that treatment.

We are demanding transparency. Preserve every second of surveillance footage. Preserve every report. Preserve every medical record. Let the evidence speak for itself.

This is bigger than one family. If someone can be harmed while completely under the control of the people responsible for protecting them, every New Yorker should care. Who are they serving ? Who are they protecting ?

Share his face. Share his name. Ask questions. Demand answers. The public deserves the truth, and Christian deserves justice if these allegations are substantiated.
