Your kid wakes up with a fever, and before you’ve even found the thermometer, you’re already doing the math. Can you afford the lost hours? Which bill was that paycheck supposed to cover?

It’s not a choice between being a good parent and a good employee. It’s a choice no one should have to make, and a lot of single moms make it on repeat, quietly, with no one to hand the day off to.

One week in, and the circle is already filling in.

We’ve read applications from women as young as 18 and as old as 72. Every one of them was rebuilding something, and not one of them was late.

Stability doesn’t have a deadline. Some women find it at 25, some at 45, and some are still working toward it at 60. Wherever you are, you’re allowed to keep going.

Today, we’re launching something new: the Uplift Circle of Giving, Uplift’s monthly giving community.
