I don’t think I’ve ever uploaded a proper photo of this mural. ‘Mother’ changed everything for me, it reshaped how I see myself as a spray painter.

This account was started to connect with writers and paint letters. Now, I paint murals to transform my city, brighten up the walls of our communities, and create conversations.

I do miss painting letters and being in the scene, but Preston doesn't have the numbers or a thriving culture yet. That said, I’ve been focusing on myself and trying to introduce the next generation to spray can art, starting with graffiti. I truly believe you have to understand the fundamentals and respect the history before jumping into painting pretty pictures.

My face is out there now, so this is me stepping into the next phase of my career. I’ll be uploading more regularly again, just not with letter-based work.

I’ve worked weekly for the past 10 years, and what you’ve seen here is probably only 10% of my day-to-day.

I had the pleasure of painting an unplanned wall with the gent that is @rasktdaklann great to meet you man.

MY POCKETS FULL OF SKY.

Battling the sun, rain and snow for this one. Massive thanks to @reasm_one for inviting me to Preston to paint this huge wall, and for all the help and hospitality.

‘My pocket’s full of sky’ is inspired by the work of Preston born poet Phoebe Hesketh.

The title comes from her poem Truant, where the line speaks about wonder, freedom and appreciating the small but important things in life.

Even though the poem was published in 1939, that feeling is timeless and still holds up today.

I wanted to take that sentiment and turn it into something bold, graphic, and contemporary but rooted in Preston’s history.

"This mural goes back 15+ years, the lyrics are from Vashti Bunyan's song 'Diamond Days' the lyrics in the song stuck with me since I first heard it while traveling Europe in my teens. It serves as a reminder to enjoy the days simple pleasures whatever that may be for you. Just another Diamond day, don't let anyone take that from you"

Testing out a new concept today, I would of loved two days on this but it's great to finally give it a go.

I dont think my daughter was too happy with me squashing her teddys against the windows and the neighbours possibly think im Sid from toy story 😅

The world's abit serious atm so it's great to not take painting as serious and just give people a laugh.

The boy's at it again 🔥 Shawn Sharpe has brought to life 150+ years of North End history in his latest mural, an 80-metre masterpiece spanning the entire length of Deepdale's Alan Kelly Town End.

Starting from the humble beginnings of North End as a cricket club in the 1860s, it pays homage to legends of the footballing world, including The Invincibles, Sir Tom Finney, Alan Kelly Sr., William Sudell and Arthur Wharton.

The mural is part of the club's Invincibles Heritage Project orchestrated by Preston North End Community & Education Trust (@pnecet) and the funding for the piece comes from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Completed October 24 I don't think I ever uploaded this one. Great photos by @charlesmdaxon I hope you don't mind me using them.

I painted this about 6 weeks after my hemiplegic migraine attack, probably running at about 60% not realising how ill I was after it. I quickly fell into a pit of depression and anxiety for months afterwards. Feeling great now though.

This was painted on the side of @studio_john_bridge_architects building with the public funding. Thanks again. by @reasm_one
