We haven’t made any wedding decisions yet, but we did know that we wanted to capture ourselves at this time in our lives in our favorite place, doing our favorite things. Thank you, @cam.whaley_ @whaley.weddings for adventuring around Saco, Biddeford, and Old Orchard Beach Maine with us ❤️

Fun fact: did you know that if you poke certain mushrooms they’ll change color where you touched?

Fun fact #2: Palace Playland (the amusement park/ arcade pictured here) is where my brother-in-law’s parents met 🎡 taken in Old Orchard Beach, Maine by @rebclements

The 2025 wedding season brought us to Texas, Maine, Rhode Island, New York x2, San Francisco, & New Jersey x2 and reunited us with friends from quite literally every stage of my life (from pre-kindergarten through post-college) and family we don’t get to see often enough. We are so lucky and love all our people dearly ❤️❤️ by @rebclements

A make from 2023 I never shared— my sister’s family’s stockings! 🎄

A project that was slightly more difficult than I anticipated, but, mostly my fault for getting ambitious with the cuffs and custom designs 😬 My favorite is either the color combo of the gold velvet cuff with what has become one of my favorite fabrics (Blooming Ritual in Evening from @maureencracknell Woodland Keeper collection) on my sister’s, or the chess themed board & crowns on my brother-in-law’s ♟️ by @rebclements

Another year filled with lots of joy and lots of grief.

I think I did some good “me” things in my 30th year— finally exercising consistently for the first time since high school field hockey (shoutout orange theory), sewing my first garment pieces, discovering the importance of taking your vitamins, trying out going to concerts/ movies/ museums alone (shoutout Artist’s Way squad), allowing myself to not feel guilty for spending an evening doing nothing but watching good tv, and completing a full year of freelance life (in which I discovered that it IS possible for work to not be a source of stress in life).

Here’s to looking ahead but not too far ahead, more creative project ideas but not forcing myself to do them immediately, more time with our families and best friends, and plenty more road trips with my darlin. by @rebclements

Fun fact— my first idea for a quilt, before I had even started quilting, was a tennis court. It just felt like the blockiness of it would work well. I finally had the perfect excuse to make it when our newest lil nephew was born during Wimbledon week into a tennis loving fam ❤️🎾 The quilting lines here are meant to indicate the grass pattern of the Wimbledon courts.

I see many more variations of this quilt in my future… so many color combo/ pattern combo/ style of quilting/ embroidery addition opportunities! Maybe eventually making it an actual pattern (instead of the mess of sketchy measurements in the final pic lol)

Yesterday marked one month since we lost my cousin Zack from a very sudden and brief illness, one week before his 34th birthday. Zack was the type of person who gave you hope about the state of the world— his passion for conservation was inspiring, and the joy he found in the work he did was so fun to see. We needed more people like Zack. He was one of the first people that made me realize the joy that paying attention and noticing the little things in the world around you can bring. For Zack this was most often birds— since childhood he’d spot hawks and eagles and laugh at ducks on our trips to the lake, herons and egrets at the beach, each time met with genuine joy at getting to experience it.

I don’t know what to do with grief besides make things, so this animation is my little tribute to Zack, based on a post he wrote that I love about a day in his work as a biological wildlife technician at Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge— at 6am, watching house finches, song sparrows, and field sparrows feasting on ripe blackberries, beaks stained with juice.

The photos— there are so many cousins on the Zeillmann side that our grandpa divided us into named generational groups: the Dirty Dozen, the Marvelous Middle, and the Sensational Six (though I think we were the only ones with VERY cool matching t-shirts). It’s impossible to believe you’re really gone, Zack. We will forever love and miss our sensational sixth member ❤️ by @rebclements

A project from the winter I realized I never shared— this table runner was a gift for my parents, and I finally got to see it in its home in their dining room last week ❤️

Pattern: Midnight Flowers table runner by @artgalleryfabrics

The back was a simple design by me, in hopes it can be reversible 🙌🏼

2023 was filled with both the greatest joy and grief I’ve experienced— spent mostly in all the places we call home (Alexandria, Louisville, Connecticut, and Maine). Here are some moments that meant something to me 🌦️❤️ by @rebclements
