I couldn’t have dreamed up a better partner or father for our children.

From the beginning, you stepped into this family with a love so genuine and selfless, immediately embracing my three as your own. You’ve listened, encouraged, taught with patience, protected and provided with unwavering devotion. You put your family first and show up in countless ways each and every day. I turned two hula hoops into a show-stopping 60” wreath and saved hundreds in the process! Normally $317, I made mine for less than $40 using hula hoops, zip ties, spray paint, garland, lights and tinsel.

What you’ll need :
Two 36” hoops ($15)
Zip ties ($6),
Krylon All-in-one spray paint in Matte Spanish Moss ($7)
A drill and bit
Hand saw
3 strands of garland and string of lights I had laying around
garland ties ($2)
4 packs of tinsel ($6)
$36 total!

I cut the hoops using a hand saw and measured the 60” width, securing the two joints with smaller 4”pieces of extra hoop (cut lengthwise through the center and folded in) so they slid into both sides of the hoops as reinforcement. After drilling holes through both the hoops and reinforced joint pieces, I tied everything together using zip ties. Then I spray painted both sides of the hoop (wearing and tripping over Noah’s shoes because I got lazy). Next I secured 3 strands of garland to the hoop using more zip ties, making sure to double it up for fullness. I used garland ties to add lights and secured to the wall using three screws and zip-tie loops. I snipped garland into 1.5” pieces and hung it all over the branches and am obsessed with the results. Isn’t she just beautiful!?! I wasn’t sure if this would work but I’m sooo happy I gave it a shot. Drop your questions below and let me know what you think. 🥹 by @rebeccaroaming

I turned 40 TODAY!!! Most of you have probably been on this journey with me for the past decade… SO many plot twists. 🤣🤣 My grays are coming in (I’m letting them and they’re adorable and I love them), my body is hurting a lot more than it ever has, but I once again have the excitement and love for life that I remember having when I was a child. My own babies are thriving, I married the man of my dreams, and I’m pouring into multiple really exciting projects. Life feels GOOD. I’ve never felt more love on a birthday, I got absolutely spoiled by my friends today and I cried grateful tears… who knew the big 4-0 would feel like Christmas? Thanks for following along on this life journey and for the support you’ve given me throughout the past decade, excited to share the next 10 with you. 🩷
