“Mommy, am I dreaming?”

Charlotte has begged for a puppy for Y.E.A.R.S.
Yesterday we finally were able to make her dream come true. Thank you to @happypawdoodles for the most precious little love!

Welcome to the family Winnie Lou, you are loved more than you will ever know ❤️

Thank you @petsmart for the puppy bag and for all the amazing supplies and treats!

A gallery wall in progress. Collected vintage art, timeworn frames, and the sweetest addition of all: my children’s artwork.

A home should feel layered, personal, and a little unexpected. The kind of place where an antique find hangs beside a childhood masterpiece, and somehow, they belong together.

Still a work in progress, just the way I like it.

Less than 100 days until Christmas, so obviously we need a little vintage Christmas giveaway. 🌲✨

This Blue Willow butter pat ornament is looking for a home, and it could be hanging on your tree this year!

Giveaway closed, winners announced soon!

Goodness, I love a vintage Christmas. 🎄

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

I fear I’ve reached the age where I’d choose the antique store over HomeGoods every single time. 😂

And honestly? I’m not mad about it.

My love language? Buying someone’s grandma’s things. 😂

Alabama hit 73°… So you know what that means 🍂

It’s officially faux fall.

Never mind that yesterday was 95° with 1000% humidity and next week will return… but today, the windows are open, the coffee is better, and I’m heading out to thrift for those cozy fall finds.

Will this weather last? Absolutely not.
But that’s no reason not to start the hunt. 🤎

Southern girls, you get it.

What temperature feels like fall to you?

Ending August with my best month yet and giving the booth a little fall refresh to welcome September. 🍂

New finds, a little rearranging, some redecorating, and all the cozy small-town vibes I could ask for.

I’m so thankful for everyone who has stopped by, shopped, shared, and supported Waverly Design Co. this month. Now the booth is freshly restocked and ready for you to come wander, browse, and find a little something for your home.

Come see what’s new at my booth at Angels Antiques in Opelika, and stay awhile—you never know what you’ll find. ☕️🍁

Here’s to September and all the good things still to come!

Turns out… it was the cute cup that made all the difference. 🍂☕️

Homemade to-go iced lattes, here we go. Saving money never looked so cute.

I’m officially embracing my Type B era 🙌🏻

Every August, the cute planners show up in stores and suddenly I’m convinced THIS is the year I become an organized person.

New planner. New pens. New tabs. New me.

Except… I fill it out for approximately 7 days and then it becomes an expensive notebook I feel guilty looking at.

So this year, I’m letting it go.

I’m a Type B mom. I’m a Type B business owner. My calendar is mostly vibes, screenshots, forgotten sticky notes, and the occasional “WAIT, WHAT DAY IS IT?”

And honestly? I kind of love it ❤️

The chaos isn’t a failure to be organized. It’s just… who I am.

So when the cute planners call my name, I’m going to take a deep breath, put it back on the shelf, and remember:

I know who I am. 😂

Y’all, the amount of time it took me to realize that wasn’t Mary… perimenopause is wild. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I fear I’ve just had the estate sale haul of the year…

There’s nothing more dangerous than an estate sale where someone had your exact taste.

Every room felt like walking through my dream house—Staffordshire dogs, silver, brass, Imari, vintage Christmas… I truly didn’t know where to look first.

Safe to say I didn’t leave empty-handed. Which find would you have grabbed first? 👀
