@rebelsraiders / @rebelsraidersgear Beta Test

Rebel called me back in May and asked to send gear that’s still in development for Beta Testing. I happily took on the mission.

The test featured both conventional and unconventional methods of quality assurance.

With the weather, limited time, and limited phone battery life, we did what we could as far as testing goes.

Huge Thanks to @toontucky_farms for letting me come down and test out the gear. I couldn’t think of a better place to do a gear QA test!

Special thanks and shout out to Israel for hanging with me while filming and editing the video. He has serious talent!!!

@rebelsraiders / @rebelsraidersgear RESTOCK Coming real soon!!!!

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17‬:‭38‬-‭39‬, ‭

“Then Saul clothed David with his garments and put a bronze helmet on his head, and he clothed him with armor. David girded his sword over his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. So David said to Saul, “I cannot go with these, for I have not tested them.” And David took them off.

44‬-‭46‬ ‭

The Philistine also said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the beasts of the field.” Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,” by @rebelsraidersgear

Summer restock is locked in for August and the herd is getting the full spread:

* VÄKÄRIÄN Plate Carrier
* APØTHECARY Med Bag
* GIZMØ GLÏDÈR Sling

Available in:

* Ranger Green
* Coyote
* Multicam
* M81 Woodland

Now for the camouflage autism portion of the program:

Yüs, different colors do have different strengths depending on environment.

Ranger Green is stupid versatile and lives in that sweet spot of “works in a lot of places without looking dumb.”

Coyote shines in drier, more arid terrain and plays well with dust, dirt, dead grass, and tan kit.

Multicam is still the all-rounder king for mixed environments because it breaks up shape well across a wide spread of terrain.

M81 remains undefeated at making people irrationally patriotic and is still excellent in greener, denser environments.

That said: for most civilians, this matters way less than the internet wants it to. If you’re not actively trying to disappear into a very specific terrain set on a regular basis, your camo choice is usually not the deciding factor between success and failure. Pick the one that fits your environment best, Yüs, but also pick the one you’ll actually run, train in, and not hate looking at.

The actual priority is the same thing it’s always been:
good gear, built correctly, that isn’t trying to trap you in some stupid proprietary ecosystem.

That’s the whole point of RÈBÈLS RÄIDÈRS.

Summer Restock:

* NIR-resistant materials
* Double reinforced stitching
* Bonded thread
* Non-proprietary design

August date TBD.

Huge thank you to @toontucky_farms for letting come down to test and evaluate prototype gear from @rebelsraiders / @rebelsraidersgear. It was rainy and muddy while testing and evaluating the gear, and that’s a great thing! All great gear must be tested in all weather conditions.

Huge shoutout to Israel for filming it all and editing this great promo video.

FULL REVIEW COMING SOON!

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭12‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” by @rebelsraidersgear

All though these are all “Still Photos”, I was able to bring @rebelsraidersgear Vakarian RECCE Rig set up with the GWOT inspired 14.5 and get after it. The way I put it together… not a single complaint. Even with running the Phoenix pack the RECCE configuration F***’s. The cummerbund is 👌🏼 no by @rebelsraidersgear

Well, I have to say I’m impressed.

At this price, I’ve never seen a more versatile or complete plate carrier setup. The team (goats?) @rebelsraiders have done a great job of covering important bases, and as a medic I’m happy to see the TQ dangler. More to come soon as I start to fill it up and test it out, but I wanted to sound off with some initial thoughts, as it just arrived today!

If you have any questions about it or ideas for how I can brutalize, leave them below and I’ll do my best to answer/try it out!

Also, keep an eye on this space for a review of the @rebelsraiders medic bag I’ve got on order! taken in Area 51 by @rebelsraidersgear
