馬上就要埃森桌遊展了，還不快開箱一些今年的新遊戲，其中一個《The Trial of the Forest》，玩家扮演小動物踏入古老的神秘森林，探索各個遺跡找尋神器。路途遙遠，必須先準備好各種裝備，路上還可以結交新朋友，不過，你也可以選擇當個壞蛋，四處作惡，就算道德敗壞也能拿到不少分數😂。光是這個主題我就不行了，愛死😍！

First things first… ARTWORK!!!! 😍🌿 It gives all the forest vibes! Every card is beautifully illustrated, and those little food tokens are SO CUTE. Everything feels so cozy… but don’t be fooled! 😅🐾 There’s a lot going on in this game!

On your turn, you can play a Deed card or a card from your hand, move to a location, and use your paws to take actions. You have 4 paws, including one powerful paw that gives you extra benefits, so choosing how to use them is important! You also have 3 tents that help you recover your paws, but once your last tent is gone, the end of the game is triggered. 👀

One thing I really enjoyed is the player interaction! You don’t always have to fight other players. Depending on the cards you play, you can also help each other by giving resources. Of course, you can still get into fights with other players or battle other creatures! 😂 I love having those different ways to interact.

You’re also working on tucking cards onto your player board to unlock better benefits and gain more resources. I really like the story element, too, where you can choose between good and bad paths and shape your morality along the way.

And can we talk about the backpack mechanic? 🎒 You can collect items, but they make your backpack heavier! Such a fun thematic touch. The different locations are also great, with opportunities to deliver goods, gain items, and buy or sell.

There’s honestly SO MUCH happening in this game, from managing your paws and resources to fighting creatures, interacting with other players, and making story-driven choices. We really enjoyed this one! ❤️🌲
