On today's episode of "our coffee shop is in an old house," 110 Harvard Place edition: we're getting a new kitchen exhaust hood installed.

We're open but it's a bit noisy, we're down a few seats, and we aren't able to make food. Otherwise, it's business as usual.

This is just at the Harvard Place location and should be wrapped up in a couple of days. Thanks! by @recesscoffee

I have not been able to get enough of @recesscoffee these past few weeks (accidentally have gone every day this week😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫)… the pumpkin cold foam is one off the best things I’ve ever had, if you’re looking for a autumn coffee , recess is def the place to go!!🎃🍂🍁⭐️ taken in Recess Coffee & Roastery by @recesscoffee

Pumpkin spice lattes are good the whole month of September (and beyond), but they somehow hit a little different now that we are squarely in autumn.

This Sunday is one of our favorite days of the year, a day to showcase this weird, wonderful neighborhood that we have been so fortunate to call home these past nineteen—almost twenty—years.

Hello! We're open everywhere today! It's the final day of The New York State Fair (sad, we know) but it's looking like another beautiful day to visit us there or our normal hours at all the shops.
