This week, the RECF is proud to support the first Missouri Innovation Week in St. Louis at the Innovate USA Summit & Expo, hosted by the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

The future workforce attended yesterday, and many local employers, educators, and civic leaders came to strengthen the region’s innovation ecosystem. As a partner in this event, the RECF was excited to engage with hundreds of students in St. Louis and introduce them to robotics, drones, and workforce development.

The hands-on learning and fun will continue from April 25 to May 7, 2027, at the RECF World Championship, coming to America's Center in downtown St. Louis. It’s one of the world's largest student robotics and drone competitions! by @recfoundation

She’s Rylentless: Where Girls Build What’s Next gave students hands on STEM experiences, including coding and driving robots. RECF was an official sponsor of this event, organized in part by local girls who planned every detail! ⚙🌟

Guest speakers included a race engineer from Chip Ganassi Racing and Dr. Katharina McFarland, with 30 years of experience in defense, space, AI, and technology innovation. Workshops like this help build confidence in young girls and we are proud to support this event! by @recfoundation

Innovation happens all over the world through RECF programs. More than 60 students came together last week for Australia's first-ever RECF Robotics Tournament, hosted at James Ruse Agricultural High School! We're also thrilled to see students getting excited about the upcoming RECF Aerial Drone Competitions in Australia.

As a nonprofit, RECF competitions and programs are made possible through community feedback and involvement and the success of Australia's first-ever RECF Robotics Tournament is an incredible example of powerful partnerships coming together! Many thanks to all the volunteers, coaches, teachers and parents who helped make this historic event possible.

"This is only the beginning. We’re looking forward to an outstanding season of robotics competition, learning and innovation across Australia!"

The RECF has always been committed to bringing robotics to more students worldwide, and we are thrilled to hear teams are excited about our new 3D printing options! 3D printing was introduced to encourage creativity, innovation, and, of course, to provide more access through affordable options available to them.

Share your innovation on our new forum, dedicated to 3D printing discussions where teams can share ideas, files, and inspiration! Chat with us at forum.RECF.org by @recfoundation

Competition Control, the RECF's Event Management Software, is available now for download! This software has been in beta testing while our community of coaches and event partners provided feedback as we developed the most common-sense, user-friendly software we could for our teams and coaches!

“C2 is the tournament software I never thought I needed.”
Thanks to valuable feedback from event partners and coaches, our software receives daily updates! C2 was developed by former coaches, event partners, and competitors who have taken their knowledge and, at times, their frustrations about other software programs and built a system that just makes sense. Download it and let us know your feedback. Available at c2.recf.org 🔗 by @recfoundation

Did you know RECF students as young as elementary aged begin learning skills that will prepare them for success in their future careers? With a growing skills gap and millions of jobs that may potentially go unfilled in the next few years, RECF programs teach students soft and technical skills, creating confident communicators, innovators, and collaborators.

We’re closing out Workforce Development Month with much gratitude to all the incredible educators, partners, and fellow organizations focused on preparing students all over the world for a bright future. 🌟

The moment “I broke it” stops being the end of the story. 🔧 🤖
@danmantz is the CEO of the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, @recfoundation, where students from countries all over the world learn that breaking things isn’t failure- it’s the start of the design process. He’s watched thousands of kids go from panic to problem-solving, and what they’re really building isn’t just robots- it’s confidence.
