A queer sketch comedy troupe and fight sex club based in Kansas City, MO
Jake, Jessa, West, Stella, Chloe, Julie, Ali, and Colton.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Reckless Intent is a proudly queer sketch troupe making comedy about sex, desire, identity, and all the weird ways people interact. With more than half of the cast identifying as transgender or gender nonconforming, they bring an array of queer and gender-diverse perspectives to their writing and performances while at the same time delivering comedy that’s smart, filthy, heartfelt, and gloriously inappropriate.

Mix in bizarre characters, a willingness to follow a premise somewhere completely unexpected, and you get a show that celebrates queer voices while finding humor in the truth that relationships are weird and sex is even weirder.

Reckless Intent creates comedy where queer voices aren’t the exception - they’re the ones running the show.

Reckless Intent is Julie Johnson, Jake Gillespie, Jessa Wiles, West Kester, Stella Garibaldi, and Chloe Leczel, with featured players Colton Richards and Ali Velazquez.

Time for another Reckless Intent photo dump. This time featuring our two newest players @c_m_richards and @aliyah_bailando

Not only did they kill it in their audition, but when we asked them to join us for a murderous little photoshoot, they went all in. We’re so happy they’ve joined our deranged and disturbed little family. by @reckless.intent

I was told I needed to write up a bio for the sketch team. It’s tougher than it sounds. You want to let the world know that you’ve encountered some of the most remarkable people you’ve ever met. However, they didn’t ask for a book. So here’s my attempt.

✍️ SUNDAY NIGHT SKETCH JAM PHOTO DUMP! ✍️

Friends, we are so happy with how last night’s sketch jam went! HUGE ups to our friends @reckless.intent, they are absolutely hilarious, hard-working, and some of the nicest people around. We had so much fun staging a sketch table read and then go around with ideas on how to punch it up and make it even funnier! Truly nonstop laughs for 90 minutes.

This is a monthly jam, so if you’re looking for your people in comedy to make funny stuff with, look no further! Bring your sketches and just show up and we will find a place for you! This is a great opportunity to meet people who actually want to make things, whether onstage or on film. We hope to see you at our next jam, it’s the last Sunday of every month: Sunday, September 27th at 6:00pm! Enormous thank you to the fabulous @happytreespainting for welcoming us into your space, we love you!!!
