Award-Winning Architecture, Thoughtful Design, and Sustainable Vision 🌿

The @jvazco.inc in Manila, designed by @jagnusdesignstudio, exemplifies a forward-thinking approach to architecture: reusing materials, refining details, and celebrating craftsmanship.

Its façade combines two RECKLI formliners — the 1/40 Rib Type M and the 2/81 Plafond — to achieve a dialogue between structured rhythm and smooth minimalism. The result: a surface that plays with light and shadow while maintaining a sense of balance and proportion.

Constructed from repurposed shipping containers, the building demonstrates how thoughtful material design and resource-conscious construction can merge into a powerful architectural statement. Inside, minimalist forms and natural materials create a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects both precision and creativity.

As RECKLI’s partner in the Philippines, JVAZCO sets a new benchmark for sustainable concrete architecture. And transforms its headquarters into a living showroom, where design innovation and craftsmanship can be experienced first-hand.

The building has already received several awards, including the Best Low-Rise Award from the Philippine Constructors Association Inc. and the American Concrete Institute – Philippine Chapter. 🏆

Forming outstanding ideas
What happens when you combine a vehicle full of tradition with a high-performance epoxy resin?
You create an idea that lasts – and draws attention.

An original 1979 Mercedes G-Class model, cast in a crystal-clear block of resin.
A statement of permanence, character, and the realization of an extraordinary idea.

The challenge:
Casting the resin required absolute precision at every step.
Each of the 90 layers had to be poured within 15 minutes – bubble-free and under fully controlled conditions.
Temperature, humidity and air quality were regulated in a custom-built cleanroom.
The vehicle itself was completely disassembled, cleaned, the engine ice-blasted, and then reassembled layer by layer within the resin.

The execution:
– A crystal-clear block measuring 5.5 × 3.1 × 2.55 meters
– A total weight of 52 tons
– 90 individual resin layers, each approx. 30 mm thick
– 8,892 working hours from start to finish
– More than 52 IBC containers of our Electro Resin EP processed

The result:
A unique object that combines idea, form and technology.

FACCIATE IN CALCESTRUZZO

Nella realizzazione di rivestimenti di facciata in pannelli prefabbricati in calcestruzzo, seguiamo il cliente e/o progettista nella scelta della texture più adatta al progetto secondo il concept architettonico studiato.

Successivamente, durante lo studio progettuale di produzione verifichiamo ed analizziamo tutti i dettagli tecnici (particolari d’angolo, giunzione verticale sui pannelli, attacco al piede ed in copertura, stacco porte e finestre) affinché il risultato finale sia quello atteso.

Room to Explore

A place to play, learn and explore: In the Haselstauden district of Dornbirn, a new childcare center has been created as part of a redesigned neighborhood center. Designed by @cukrowicznachbaurarchitekten, the four-storey building accommodates around 180 children across eight groups. The clear architectural design is complemented by a distinctive façade.

A key design element is the textured exposed concrete façade: RECKLI Formliner Sinus 18/76 was used for the exterior surfaces. Its wave-like texture is directly transferred onto the concrete surface, giving the façade rhythm and depth.

New Kind of University in the Heart of the Olympic Park

UCL East Marshgate is at the heart of University College London’s new campus in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Designed by @stanton_williams, the eight-storey building brings together research, teaching and public spaces across approximately 35,000 m².

A defining feature is the exposed concrete of the multi-storey Fluid Zone. For these surfaces, the architects developed a bespoke board-marked texture using timber boards of different widths and depths.

To bring this bespoke design to life, RECKLI created custom elastic formliners from the original timber masters, resulting in a natural and varied board-marked concrete finish.

The result has gained significant recognition: UCL East Marshgate was named RIBA London Building of the Year 2026 and received a RIBA National Award 2026.
A great example of how a bespoke idea can become a distinctive architectural identity in concrete.

🏫 Where Architecture Meets Growth

In Shanghai's growing Zhenru Urban Sub-Center, this new school rises like layers of clouds above the city. It was designed by Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. under the vision "Urban Green Carpet, Cloud Campus."

The expressive terracotta-red façade was made of GRC shaped with our RECKLI 2/701 Liberty formliner. Its curtain-like waves give the concrete a dynamic, lightweight look, symbolising the students' upward journey.

To protect this texture for the long term, the façade was treated with RECKLI OS HO: colourless, breathable, and built to withstand Shanghai's humid climate.
