As prescribed by my Georgia State University Intro to Poetry & Creative Writing professor Mx.Redd, I had the pleasure of interacting with and responding to this striking painting by Marina Korenfeld. Only after my first draft submission, did I do supplemental research to find the painting to be titled “Not Dancing.” How fitting.

Marina Korenfeld, @marinakorenfeldart , thank you for sharing your gift with the world. God bless.

Hello, I will also be posting poetry interchangeably on Substack.
Thank you for all the love, support and kind words from everyone over the years on my poetry.
If you are a creative or creator of any kind, this is your sign to just start. Whatever that may mean to you!
Someone is waiting to be blessed by your gift.
Love. by @recollectionsofm
