Last weekend, Melting Pot brought back the tradition of a classic soundclash, an uncompromising duel armed with exclusive dubplates, heavy bass artillery, and raw energy on the mic.

The evening kicked off with a proper terrace warm-up by Kuba Dread and Peeni Walli, while inside, Japan’s own Cojie delivered a heavyweight Roots and Culture session.

Then came the main event in Salo: local heroes Conscious Soldiers faced off against Germany’s Firesound. Round by round, the atmosphere escalated to boiling point. As always, you had the final word and Firesound took home the well-deserved trophy.

Here are some fantastic photos of 'Backbone' taken by @recompo.se

Caught me on a rainy afternoon, one of the first in months. Perfect day for reminiscing on cutting about in the muddy glen.

Just realised I haven't posted this bunch of babes since our incredible, soggy weekend in the woods a month or so ago.

This is the @kelburnparties Media Team. Each and every one of them helped us achieve an amazing amount, despite some pretty grim conditions. It's fair to say, a little bit of rain doesn't do much to dampen the spirits of a Scottish festival 🥳 still smashed it harrdddd 💪

We're missing around 10 people here, some got photoshopped in(bonus points if you can spot who), others were busy working/partying/sleeping, and will just have to catch the next family pic 🤣

Thank you all so much. Kelburn is hands-down the best weekend of my year, every year, and has been for well over a decade now. It's an honour to be tasked with creating the visual narrative for such an awesome festival, and even more so to do it alongside all of you legends.

To say I'm looking forward to next year already would be an understatement. I canny fekkin' wait 💖

That said, there's still the mammoth task of keeping the socials all shiny and fresh until then - so I'm not holding my breath! Lots of work ahead before then 🫠

Big love and massive thanks to the whole Kelburn crew for believing in us, and making capturing the scenes such a fun thing to do. taken in Kelburn Garden Party by @recompo.se
