It was about this day 3 years ago when @rneibacher and @kuskiefpv showed me a video of @mrsteelefpv orbiting a water tower and it changed my life forever. In that time I've only really flown with like 6 different pilots, @skygremlin @mammothbrewvictor and Bobby Danger.

This footage was corrupted but I hung onto it because it was my favorite pack of the year. Though technically weak it has all the things I love about FPV: team flying, proximity, distance, nature, a little bit of freestyle and whole lot of speed. A little bit of effort recovered this glorious moment from an exciting trip with good friends. It stands as a bit of a metaphor for my 1-Year Chip. A bittersweet time, as the borrowed meaning of Blue Sky, Black Death sinks in on a skipping record. Thankful for legendary friends and family who have kept close by. From lost loved ones, financial ruin, depression, to persistent injuries, I have learned the road to overcome addiction and battle forward while not forgetting the trail behind me. Many thanks to all of you for keeping me inspired, for reminding me that FPV has always felt like what I was born to do.

Yo @mrsteelefpv if we ever meet, I've still got the original protective Taranis screen plastic that needs peeling off. Thanks for keeping real about what is important in this hobby: ripping balls with your homies.

There is no downside to accepting life as we know it as heaven, to accept all pain and suffering as lessons, to forgive ourselves, to forgive others. by @recon_fpv

Sometimes you just gotta pause the journey, and be a little late for the destination, because the journey is the destination. by @recon_fpv
