The Other Half
Acta Records – A-38004
US 1968

It’s a wild one. The music is wild, and the condition of my copy is, too... but it still plays well.

Founded in L.A. and then relocated to San Francisco.
A legendary garage-psych-rock band featuring Randy Holden before he joined Blue Cheer.
Their biggest hit—likely thanks to the *Nuggets* series—is "Mr. Pharmacist."

Nazz – Nazz Nazz
SGC – SD 5002
US — 1969

Nazz's second album might not exactly be a masterpiece, but it is a solid release. You can already feel the winds of the new decade in the music. It would have been even better if Todd Rundgren and his bandmates had left out the strings and horns on some of the tracks; as good as those instruments might be, they simply have no place on a rock record. The rock songs and sections, however, are really strong.
Cool, unusual red vinyl for the US versions.

The Exciting Wilson Pickett
Atlantic – SD 8129
Germany — 1966

A €5 flea market find from the weekend.
I love the old Atlantic pressings. Great sound, fantastic cover designs, and—of course—amazing artists recorded on them.

Never understood unpacking videos. After this one, I understand them even less, but see for yourself…

And while we’re at it, serving all the clichés, there’s also a cat clickbait thumbnail that has nothing to do with the clip. Enjoy!

…Oh, btw: Yes, there’s gonna be a special edition reissue of our sold-out KILLING TONGUE album. Stay tuned for more info soon…

The Fifth Estate
Jubilee 1967

At first they were called The D-Men, and then The Fifth Estate. Only one cool LP was released, and the band is apparently still around.

Fact's of Act's Part Two.

Fargo - I Can See Now
RCA 1969

Das Debütalbum von Fargo ist etzt ganz bestimmt kein Meilenstein der Musikgeschichte, aber es hat trotzdem seine großen Momente.
Eine gutes günstig zu findenes Sixtiespopalbum.

Fargo's debut album is certainly no milestone in music history, but it still has its great moments.
A good Sixties pop album that can be found at a low price.

The Foundations - Build Me Up Buttercup
UNI 73043
US 1968

The Foundations were a multicultural British soul band, which briefly included Arthur Brown as a member.
Their biggest hit was probably "Baby, Now That I've Found You," which reached number 1.
