Today, I had the profound honor of meeting four young kings for the very first time. Their energy was magnetic….a vibrant mix of curiosity, gratitude, and boundless youthfulness. Moments like these remind me of the purpose that fills my life when I get to witness potential in its purest form.
I began to understand something essential: young kings flourish when they receive love, guidance, and attention from those who have walked before them. Just as a garden thrives after the mother tends to it, so too will these young souls bear great fruit when nurtured with care, patience, and wisdom.
To the parents who entrusted me with your children, I offer my deepest gratitude. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to witness their brilliance, to guide them, and to be a small part of their journey. The work we invest in our youth may not always be immediately visible, but with continued care and encouragement, the benefits will bloom in ways that touch generations.

There is something deeply powerful about opening a door for someone who may have never even known it existed
Sometimes all it takes is one moment one opportunity one experience one person willing to say you belong here to change the direction of a young life When we give our youth the chance to see more feel more and dream beyond their current circumstances we are not just creating memories we are planting purpose
Guidance is more than advice It is presence It is patience It is showing up consistently enough that hope begins to feel real And in those shared moments whether big or small we help shape not only happier memories but stronger futures
I do not take this responsibility lightly It is both an honor and a blessing that God has entrusted me with the opportunity to serve to uplift and to pour into families and communities This work is bigger than me it is about legacy impact and love in action

Escorting our youth to the Bible Museum proved to be an exceptionally profound and memorable experience—one that transcended a simple outing and became a transformative encounter. From the outset, there was a palpable sense of unity as each young individual was thoughtfully introduced, alongside the presence of engaged and supportive parents. This gathering cultivated an atmosphere of intentional connection, where families were actively invested in the spiritual and personal development of their youth. It was a powerful reminder of the impact that collective encouragement and shared purpose can have on shaping young minds.
As we immersed ourselves in the rich narratives and teachings of the Bible, the experience was elevated through intellectually stimulating, interactive exhibits that encouraged critical thinking, reflection, and expression. The youth were given space to demonstrate their insight, curiosity, and creativity, all while strengthening interpersonal relationships. What emerged was more than knowledge acquisition—it was the cultivation of community, character, and faith in action. Last night, I had one of those moments that reminds me exactly why mentorship matters.
Watching the youth step onto that court—especially being chosen for the dunk contest—you could feel it. The energy, the pride, the pure joy in their faces. That kind of excitement can’t be manufactured. It comes from being seen, being supported, and being given a space to shine.
For me, that’s real currency.
Not money. Not recognition. But witnessing growth in real time. Seeing them experience what it feels like to enjoy life in a way that’s earned through discipline, effort, and belief in themselves.
Moments like that are bigger than basketball. They’re about exposure. They’re about planting seeds—showing them that there’s more available to them when they commit to sharpening not just their skills, but their mindset.
When men choose to show up—consistently, intentionally, and with principle—we help shape environments where this youth can thrive. Where they feel encouraged to lead, to think, and to carry themselves with purpose.
That’s how communities are built. Not through words alone, but through presence, example, and investment.

A man can lose many things and still remain rich in the only things that truly matter: his human dignity, his character, and his willpower. When God breathed the breath of life into man, He gave him more than existence — He gave him purpose, identity, and the authority to rise above circumstance. That is why I pour into youth the way I do: to remind them that they already carry greatness within them, even before the world recognizes it. They do not have to become valuable — they already are. They just need guidance, real experiences, hope, and belief to awaken what has already been placed inside of them. The world may overlook them at times, but I will never let them overlook the greatness within themselves.
Today was bigger than a game. Today, two young men connected, built community, and enjoyed each other’s presence. For one of them, this was his very first NBA experience — and for me, that means everything. To be a mentor is not just to speak life, but to create moments that expand vision, build hope, and show youth that their dreams are possible. If I can help give a young person his first experience, help him find his voice, and help him believe in something greater for himself, then I know the mission is working. This is how we build aspirations. This is how we build futures. This is how we remind our youth that they belong in places, opportunities, and experiences they may have never imagined for themselves. Mentorship is one of life’s greatest responsibilities—and one of its greatest honors.
I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to take these young leaders to their first soccer game. Experiences like this go beyond the game itself. They introduce youth to teamwork, discipline, community, and the confidence that comes from being included in something bigger than themselves.

Rectify All Youth (R.A.Y) & @shootersabm took a group of young people to witness more than just a basketball game at the Georgetown Hoyas vs Providence matchup ..we gave them an experience, a vision, and a glimpse of what is possible when they are exposed to something greater than their everyday environment. Sometimes mentorship is not just correction through words, but connection through presence. It is about bridging the gap between where a young person is and where they could be, using real moments, real opportunities, and real guidance to plant seeds that can grow into purpose.
When youth are given meaningful experiences, they begin to see that better decisions create better outcomes, and that success is not something distant ….it is something they can move toward with the right influence around them. A true mentor does not just tell youth what to do, but walks beside them, opens doors for them, and helps expand their thinking. That is how lives are changed. That is how the gap is bridged.
