Very excited for the new @jealous_lot tunes. Here is one of my favorite bass-lines so far!
While taking some lessons with @bearmonth we discussed how both of us had worked on this thumping technique, but never really found a solid practical use for it. I decided to make this riff so that I had at least one song in my pocket that required it. Now all the practice time is worth it!

Been working on this for a while, it was super fun to learn. I now know one riff that uses pretty much the full range of a bass.
Unrelated, but Casandra also got us Harry Styles tickets.

It's been a while! I've been trying to keep myself super busy this summer, and it is definitely working. But I could still use YOUR help. Come record your band/song with me sometime!
I've also been gigging more lately, so come say hi or boo

Spent some time acclimating myself to the speakers, and fell down a metal rabbit hole. I forgot how much I like metal stuff too. by @red1ights

"if you love something, set it free; if it comes back, it's yours"
When rumors that G&L was closing started going around, I started looking once again for a used L-2500 S750. In a few days, one popped up online, and now here it is. Ever since I got rid of my last one, I had plans to come back to it later. Glad I got the chance too, as these will probably be pretty rare in the future.
This bass has such a unique character, which I am so used to since the Tribute version was my first bass. It is also incredibly supportive to a band, but can cut through concrete when you need it to. Glad to have it in the stable for when the Lakland just doesn't cut it.
I think I am starting to become a collector. Pray for my wallet.

Update! I have started working out of a new studio at @mainstrassevillagetheater. I am loving the space, and I can already tell it will help me tremendously with bringing better songs to your ears. Oddly enough, I feel like I can just hear things more clearly. Can't wait to start diving into the endless hardware too.

I am a little late to the game, but last week @terribly_happy released their album on all platforms. I had the great pleasure of producing and mixing this album. It was a bit of a tense process, but I came to love all these songs so much while working on them.
I truly believe there are some incredibly well written songs on here. While they are all special, my favorites would have to be "Pretending to Forget" and "Building Castles with the Sands of Time." Check it out! by @red1ights

Wicked riffs from @psychedelicprncrumpets have been the center of my practice routine lately. I don't have everything 100% clean yet, but it is too fun not to share.
If you live in Cincy and want to jam, lmk
Maybe one day I'll figure out how to fit my whole bass in the shot.
