🥇POL-ITE: Off The Ground Vol 2.🏆❕

Thank you @tpdeofficial @fayannetan for entrusting me to create a competitive piece for the club to represent, let alone a spicy one. I am eternally grateful for the process and results and as always, the best place to be back is where it all started 🙏🏻

This was probably the most that I've wrecked my brain upside-down-360 for an item. Conceptualising, choreographing and the make-sensing of this piece since October was harder to figure than finding the exit out of Ikea at 12 years old. Definitely couldn't have done it without the close friends that gave notes, advices & even ideas. This item was a real kampung effort to say the least!

And the kampung villagers that placed your trusts in me, @tri.enn @m.miche_elle @syqkkie @areca.lim @yyrvnn @fahaqis @kayllis.s @talisa.leong @irdinalinaa @soaphersloafers @_hui_ming , thank you for being such rockstars that pushed yourselves and even me, to breathe this item into existence. And also thank you QUEENS for making me feel <20 y o again!

Special thanks to @cerealboye for creating the backdrop visualiser from scratch in a week, crazy work king pop off

And of course thank you to the judges! 🧑‍⚖️

30 days of Threading from Nov 🪡

2 seconds of the 15 minutes (+) of explorations each day, finding something new within the realms of upper body threads opened up so many the possibilities of this concept that it felt fresh again to practice it. No doubt a real challenge after the first few days but after the first few minutes of exploring each day, I always find myself back in the magical blackhole knot of wonderment.

Thank you to my broja @justin.dejager for the challenge & the constant motivation-encouragement, a G for life👨🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻 by @redbeanjack

Tried to bust an electro-esque threading round for the very first time in an open battle because when else will I get the opportunity to if not at @latenightvsion 😆

「 Liminal-sub-liminaL 」 🧵

Had the honour last month to stage a full on mass threading piece for the first time at @esplanadesingapore outdoor theatre no less! Full 6 min piece on 3rd slide & a bunch of random memorable bts + explroations forward!

Super grateful for the opportunity by @oschoolofficial along with the guidance from @ginlam as always, & also @carolontheroad @leammingjiang for producing the entire 5.6.7.8. show & line up! 🙏🏻

Big big shoutouts to @firikkusukyuu @goodriddance_sg for the amazing costume gradient indigo dye that was the ultimate blueberry on top for the piece! 🙌🏻

And of course to the beautiful bodies that have endured this twister of a rollercoaster journey to make this possible,
