hello world! This post won't spark "rage" so it won't be boosted by the algo (hopefully at least!). After mulling things over for a while... I think the time has come to say goodbye to instagram and social media. It's really devolved into people growing audiences through rage / controversy, ect....... so... any info that you would like, please check out our website and if you would like, feel free to send us an email anytime. I bring 6-piece jazz band to beanlandia (🏛️3300 Royal St. New Orleans) on Sundays,
during "Beaning session" of krew of red beans🫘

Kids friendly, bring your kids!! (not so many jazz clubs are kids friendly in town!) 🎥video from our first jazz night with my kids!

(Their big dance floor needs more dancers too!!🕺💃)

⏰5-7pm live jazz concert!

Hello NOLA,
New Orleans is full of amazing musicians – but unfortunately, there isn’t much of a safety net here when things happen. That’s one of the goals of Beanlandia: to help build a stronger safety net.
One of the most special people in our city is Blues musician Little Freddie King. Unfortunately, on Sept. 28th Freddie was flipped off his EV bike and suffered some serious injuries – his spine, head, and hands. Thankfully, he has received medical care and has finished extensive rehab therapy. Freddie is ready to go home, but will need in-home assistance for a while. And his main source of income, as a working musician, will be unavailable since the recovery process is long and he has to build up his strength before he can play his guitar again. If you have never seen Little Freddie King perform, check out the video we made a few years ago during COVID – you’ll see he is an absolute treasure of a musician and I hope you’ll consider donating to this effort. The funds we raise will help pay medical bills, health care assistance, equipment, house utilities and incidental needs.. Help Freddie get through! (link in bio) by @redbeansparade
