Know the warning signs - before a battery becomes a fire risk ⚠🔋

❄️ With snow in the forecast for this weekend, it’s the perfect time to pull out the winter gear and pass along the items your family has outgrown!

From now until the end of February 2027, Red Deer County is accepting donations of new or gently used winter outerwear for kids, teens and adults.

We’re looking for:
🔵 Jackets
🔵 Snowpants
🔵 Boots
🔵 Toques, mittens and scarves

If donating gently used items, please ensure they are clean or freshly laundered before drop-off.
