FUNDING for pastors, leaders, and visionaries? Don’t mind if we do…😃⬇️ @reddgo.long and I are very excited about the next iteration of our community work! In 2017, Reddgo founded and led a grassroots non-profit in Wilmington, NC @a.c.t.s.movement, combating food insecurity through an AWARD-WINNING food pantry. That work laid the foundation for our commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus through needs-based aid. Since moving to South Carolina, we have prayed on creative ways we can expand our philanthropy, and one of the best ways to do that is to innovate (😌) and allocate economic support to those already doing the work across the nation. As such, we are elated to introduce the newest addition to our portfolio, Long Family Foundation. The Foundation is our legacy’s giving vehicle, built on a shared conviction that faithful stewardship means being conduits (not just recipients) of God’s provision. As our Pastor @bishopmablue teaches, we are not called to consume, but to PRODUCE! The Foundation exists to fund Kingdom work that is often overlooked by traditional giving entities. Covenant Capital will be the grant-making division of Long Family Foundation, funding ministries and ministers through outcome-centered micro-grants: modest, one-time gifts provided through a solicited funding opportunity to meet a specific strategic priority. We envision Covenant Capital providing funding for diverse Kingdom needs (e.g., ministry supplies, building projects, outreach events, youth initiatives, conference sponsorships, live recordings, etc.) Each grant we intend to fund is an act of sowing into the work already being accomplished in God’s vineyard, and we are excited to see how applicants illustrate their existing impact. Please pray for us in the excellent execution of this God-inspired vision and all that goes with it: legal paperwork, tax implications [which already drive me up a wall 😂], and any retaliatory strike from the kingdom of darkness. For now, TAG your pastor or a visionary doing amazing work and ask them to mention which types of initiatives we should consider first‼️ Thank you! This weekend was a very fruitful but demanding Leadership Conference. I’m so blessed to have my wife serving with me. Ministry is what we do, but marriage is who we are together. After everything we poured out behind the scenes, still, the greatest blessing isn’t standing on a platform, it’s standing beside her❤️ by @reddgo.long
Today is a testimony wrapped in a birthday. It is a reminder that the woman you always see serving, loving, and giving has walked through chapters that she never expected to have to write, but still found a way to keep BECOMING. There is something powerful about a woman who no longer feels the need to wait until she looks like the version of herself she imagined before she allows herself to be celebrated. She understands that she does not have to become someone else to be worthy of joy, but she is worthy of celebrating right now. 36 and still here, but more than a survivor. A leader A dreamer. A wife. A friend. A giver A servant Today, I don’t just celebrate her birthday, I celebrate her becoming. I celebrate every version of her that had to learn something new, heal, start over, and keep going. Babe, at 36, may you see yourself the way God sees you. Still growing, still becoming, still beautiful, still worthy, still loved, and still here. I want you to look at yourself and celebrate who you already are. Because I see a woman who has been stretched, tested, humbled, strengthened, and changed, but I also see a woman who still has so much life in her. I celebrate the fact that you are YOU! If I could give you one gift today, it would be the ability to see yourself the way we all see you. AMAZING. “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.” Ecclesiastes 3:15 KJV📖 The chapters you wish you could rewrite, moments you wish had never happened, seasons you did not understand, and days you wondered why God allowed certain things to happen are not outside of His reach. He has not abandoned what happened behind you. GOD. CHASES. HISTORY. There may be some things that you thought could never be recovered because too much had happened, but God has a relationship with time that we do not have. What has been and what will be are not disconnected from Him. God does not have to erase your history to give you a future. He is already there. Happy 36th Birthday, my love❤️❤️ by @reddgo.long
#LONGpost I was sitting alone in the sanctuary at our church a few weeks ago and was reminded of God’s faithfulness when I looked down at my shoes👞 Let me explain…. Last month, we were privileged to be in St. Louis to serve our Pastor ministering at a conference. Prior to arriving, my mind was on a plethora of things, and in the middle of packing, I forgot my dress shoes. I didn't realize it until I got to the hotel at 5:45 PM. Service was scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM🤦‍♂️ I told my wife, and without making me feel bad or asking, "How did you forget your shoes?" she secretly went into solution mode. Although I already had a pair of casual shoes on that could possibly get me by, I preferred to be as presentable as possible. Men’s Warehouse was only 15 minutes away from the hotel, but because of a flight delay, I didn’t have the time to make the adjustment due to it being so late. So, as we’re preparing to head out, I hear a knock at the door and it’s DoorDash. My wife ordered a pair of dress shoes from a store so I'd have what I needed to get through the night without having to divide my attention. Real covenant isn't always loud. Sometimes it looks like your spouse covering the area where you came up short without EVER making you feel small. It's having a person who sees a need and meets it, not because they have to, but because your burden has become their burden. We celebrate the big anniversaries, lavish gifts, and picture-perfect vacations, which all have their place. But marriages are actually built in moments like these when no one is watching and there's nothing to gain. That's what I've come to appreciate about my marriage. The little things are never really little. I’ve discovered a love that's more interested in serving than keeping score. The greatest expression of love isn't a grand gesture, it’s a pair of shoes showing up right when I needed them the most❤️ by @reddgo.long
I was supposed to post this last week… Nevertheless, Happy Sunday from the Longs!❤️💛 by @reddgo.long
#CCFM2026 I wasn’t in a prayer line, I was in my usual place, serving in the corner and focused on behind the scenes aspects of the conference. But in this moment, Pastor T. Renea Glenn connected with me, and without even laying hands on me, she released a word that completely shifted my life. I wasn’t seeking a moment, I was sincerely serving, and while serving, God allowed me to receive. The Lord had JUST impressed upon me that honor is demonstrated by positioning. If I recognize that God is moving through the leadership that He has established, then I can’t afford to be casual or just present. The issue is not whether God is giving, the issue is whether I have positioned myself to receive what He is releasing. This season has challenged me to stop observing what God is doing and to walk fully in it. I want every instruction, impartation, correction, and measure of grace that the Lord has for me. I refuse to leave God’s presence carrying less than what He intended because I failed to recognize the significance of the moment. It’s very possible to carry the mantle of service while missing the impartation available through that service. If all I do is work, then I become a servant who is exhausted. But when I serve with discernment, I become a servant who is strengthened by the very glory surrounding the assignment. MARANATHA! by @reddgo.long
🚨5 YEARS OF MARRIAGE: THE GRACE PERIOD Today marks 5 years of marriage to my beautiful wife, Sylvia💝 I have come to understand in a deeper way that grace is not just favor, but it is also strength and ability. It is the divine empowerment that God gives you to become what you could not become on your own. When I look back over these 5 years, I can clearly see that there were moments and seasons that required a level of patience and maturity that we did not naturally possess at the time. Grace was teaching us how to love beyond feelings and into commitment, not just covering us, but actively working within us to strengthen our foundation and increase our capacity for one another. It gave us the ability to choose each other again and again, even when it would have been easier to fall back. So today, I don’t just celebrate the fact that we made it to 5 years, I celebrate what we have BECOME in these 5 years. The growth that has taken place and the connection that has been deepened has us still standing, not because everything was perfect, but because His grace is sufficient! Happy 5 year anniversary to my dear wife❤️💙Thank you for walking through every season with me, for growing with me, and for allowing grace to do its work in us. Thank you for your patience and commitment to what we are building together. ✅Still here…. ✅Still becoming…. ✅Still moving forward together with purpose…. I LOVE YOU‼️ #ForeverIsALONGTime #GracePeriod “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...” 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV📖 by @reddgo.long
Yesterday, a technician came out to fix our internet. Ever since my wife and I moved to a rural area last year, the connection has been inconsistent and dropping at the worst times. So, this morning I ran a speed test on my phone while I was on the other side of the house. Before the test even started, a message appeared that said, “You’ll get the best results if there is nothing between you and your router.” 💡In that moment it began to preach to me. Here I am expecting strong results, but positioned far away with too much in between. And that is how it is for some of us spiritually. We expect clarity and direction, but we have distance and distractions between us and God. It’s not that the connection is broken or God is not moving...it’s due to not being positioned properly. When you get closer and remove what is in the way to align yourself with Him, EVERYTHING changes. You get the best results when nothing stands between you and the Source🔌 The clearer the path, the stronger the connection🔋 by @reddgo.long
Miracles happen every day, and you’re looking at two of them💙❤️ by @reddgo.long
I’m praying that what you carry on the inside becomes strong enough to sustain what you and your spouse are building together. Relationships are not only shaped by what is seen, but by what is hidden. Even by the thoughts, the wounds, the habits, and the healing that lives beneath the surface. Love struggles when unhealed places go unaddressed, and what is left unresolved has a way of showing up in moments that matter the most. We must have the courage to face what is uncomfortable and the grace to extend patience to one another along the way. It is not just about what happened in the past, but about what still remains because what remains will either strengthen your foundation or slowly weaken it over time. 🙏May your marriage be built from a place of healing and intentional growth as you continue to grow.🌱 by @reddgo.long
This time, he had a work trip to Chicago :) ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ #Travel #Marriage #Business #Partnership #Love by @reddgo.long
Let me testify…. @sylvialongphd , you have walked this journey with intentional love and consistent faithfulness. You’ve stood with me, prayed for me, confronted me with grace, and walked beside me as I grow into the man God has called me to be. That is indeed covenant love and not a contractual agreement. If the question is can our relationship go deeper or if God can strengthen our union, the answer is YES! But He will only do it when we allow accountability, honesty, grace, and His Word to shape us. For the past 2 days, attending the Weekend to Remember event was a first step toward the future God intended for us. It was more than a getaway, but a sacred space and reminder that truth is transformational. I’m even more grateful for you being my wife, partner, and sharpener. Thank you for loving me boldly and believing in God’s vision for us. I love you so much! This Valentine’s Day, I don’t just celebrate us, but I celebrate the God in us❤️🙌 #ForeverIsALONGTime #GracePeriod #SinceWhen by @reddgo.long
