Looking to gain practical, career ready skills at no cost? The Youth Empowerment Boostwr Program is offering FREE training in Patisserie & Cuisine for young adults in Abuja.

Location: Abuja Only
 Start Date : 1st July, 2026
 Classes: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
 Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Kindly note this is NOT A PROFESSIONAL COURSE but a skill acquisition class. 
No stipends will be provided.

Karonmajigi is a rural community within one of the internally displaced persons camps in Nigeria. Every year, we show up for this community in the ways we can. This year was no different. We refused to let the economic realities of our beloved country stop us from making an impact.

From sitting with these women and listening to their stories, to identifying the skills they already have and supporting them with tools that match their needs, the experience was deeply moving. Watching faces worn by fatigue and the feeling of being forgotten transform into smiles and tears of hope meant everything to us.

For us as a foundation, the ability to give support is at the very core of who we are. We are grateful to all the beneficiaries of this year’s Business Empowerment Initiative.

Insha Allah, we will go even bigger next year. Ameen.

We spoke with some of the beneficiaries of the Red Dish Foundation Business Empowerment Initiative 2026 as they shared how hands-on training, access to industry experts, and practical classes on operations, consistency, customer relationships, and food business planning are shaping their journeys.
This initiative remains one of the ways we give back to our community each year.

Today felt like a big step forward in my journey.

I visited Redish Chronicles here in Abuja, and I’m so grateful to share that I was selected for the Redish Foundation Business Empowerment Program as one of the 30 businesses chosen.

We had an inspiring session with Chef Stone,where we learned valuable lessons about pricing, costing, and building a successful food business.

Meeting new entrepreneurs, sharing ideas, and being in such a beautiful, serene environment made the experience even more special.

And the best part? This is only Day One.

Thank you Redish Foundation and Redish Chronicles for this opportunity. I’m excited for everything ahead.

Our Ideas Project students had their first assessment, grouped in teams of four, and were tested on their creativity, design, techniques, and taste.

And they truly delivered. 👏🏽 The level of innovation, teamwork, attention to detail, and confidence they brought to the table was impressive. Each group showed growth, originality, and a strong understanding of what they’ve been taught.

A powerful first step,and this is only the beginning. The journey to excellence continues. ✨

We’re back!!! and this time, we’re going even further.

After the impact of last year’s program, we knew this wasn’t a one-time effort. The results, the growth stories, and the businesses that moved from surviving to thriving made it clear: this initiative must continue.

So we’re relaunching the Business Empowerment Initiative a second phase designed to deepen the support, expand the reach, and create even more success stories for food entrepreneurs who are ready to scale.

This isn’t just another training program.
We’re providing practical guidance, hands-on workshops, real business strategies, and the kind of support that translates directly into increased revenue and sustainable growth.

Selected participants will also receive financial support and essential tools to help strengthen their operations and position their businesses for long-term profitability.

If you’re a food entrepreneur in Abuja who is ready to grow intentionally and build a profitable, sustainable business, this is for you.

To qualify:
• You must live in Abuja
• You must have an existing food business (with proof)
• You must be available to attend the workshops
• You must be committed to growing and improving your business
