Reddog Architects is proud to support Movember this year.

For the month of November, our team is taking part in the Move challenge, covering 60 km each to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. The 60 km represents the 60 men lost to suicide every hour around the world.

Movember supports vital work in three areas: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

As Reddog marks 25 years in 2026, we are grateful for the community that has supported us, and we are pleased to give something back. You can support our team by donating through the link in our bio.

Housing is a human right.
For 25 years we have had the privilege of designing homes across Queensland, and what stays with us is what those homes do for people. From bringing a sense of safety and comfort to belonging and a place to build a life.
This World Architecture Day, we are reflecting on what home really means, and on the role architects play in making good housing possible for more people.

Premiers again! 🦁💛❤️💙 Congratulations to the Brisbane Lions on a fantastic Grand Final win. As proud Lions fans here at Reddog, we couldn't let the weekend pass without a nod to the game.

So we are taking another look at the AFL clubhouse at Burpengary. Designed to handle the demands of match day, it is also welcoming in its scale and materiality, with circulation, sightlines and climate response considered from the start. It is a building that works as hard as the people who use it, and it has been rewarding to watch it become part of the community's sporting culture.

Fun fact: the Lions played at the Grand Opening, so this one holds a special place in our hearts (and gives us one more excuse to say it… GO LIONS! 😉)

Designed in collaboration with @designaa__ for @clubparkhurst, the space brings together layered materiality, warm timber, and considered lighting to create somewhere the North Rockhampton community can gather together.
It is rewarding to see these spaces at work now that the club is open and in full swing.

With less than a week to go until our 25th milestone, there are important people we haven’t thanked yet: our clients, builders and collaborators.
Every one of these sketches started as a conversation, as an idea shaped as much by the people we were designing for as by us. Twenty-five years of projects means twenty-five years of people who trusted a sketch and a vision and helped bring it to life.

So very close now to our birthday and we can’t stop reminiscing! We have had a few homes in the last 25 years – from our very early beginnings as a home-based practice, then Zig Zag Street, and on to Prospect Street and through to our current home in Gotha Street. Every Reddog home has had a distinct character and each move has added to our story.

Not too long now until it is our 25th birthday. We couldn’t miss the opportunity to look back through the projects that have received recognition along the way. Chapel Hill House, The Garden Bunkie, Gossip Gowns, CHAC D Block, Minjerribah Ganaba, are just a few. It always means a lot to us when a project is recognised and acknowledged.

With our 25th birthday almost here, it is a good time to acknowledge that Reddog has never been just about one person. To every team member who has been part of the Reddog family over the past 25 years- thank you! Reddog is what it is because of everyone who has shaped our story along the way. by @reddogarchitect

Some projects will always remain a favourite. As we get closer to our 25th birthday, we have been continuing our look at our timeless projects - and Chapel Hill House is one we always come back to.
The project involved building on the strength of an existing home. Creating a new void that acts as the heart of the home, lets natural light in and transforms how the spaces connect.

Congratulations on your registration Linton! Linton started at Reddog Architects as an aspiring architectural student who exuded enthusiasm, an inquisitive mind about architecture and creative ideas. Working towards his registration he has contributed to many projects, many of which have been award winning, been a wonderful mentor to many students and at the same time been a great father to two beautiful children.

He has grown seamlessly into a leader of the practice. He juggles the role of being a design and project architect into being part of the senior leadership team, with great energy and enthusiasm. Achieving registration is wonderful reward not only for him personally but also for our practice. So thank you and congratulations Linton!

This year marks 25 years of Reddog Architects and as the milestone gets closer, we have found ourselves reminiscing about twenty-five years of people and projects.
Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing a few of the moments, projects and people that got us here. First up we couldn’t resist looking back to where it all began: H1 House.
