After more than 12 amazing years at our Bishop Oluwole location, we are excited to announce that we will be moving to a new space which is more aligned with our next growth stage as a change leader for the arts ecosystem.

We want to use this opportunity to thank all our amazing friends, artists, patrons and partners that made our home, their home also. We could not have achieved all the successes and set all the standards that we did without your unequivocal love, passion and support.

After over a decade of collaboration with the National Gallery of Art (NGA), we are excited to enter into a formal agreement that will see Red Door driving critical infrastructure build in partnership with the NGA.

This is a landmark agreement that symbolises the alignment of vision between two organisations focused on enhancing the art ecosystem. We recognise the leadership of the DG of the NGA, Ahmed Sodangi in actualising this vision.

Watch this space as we move swiftly into execution mode ! @nganigeria

Cyril Oma (b. 1983)

Oma studied Art formally at the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos Nigeria and has been painting as a studio artist for over 25 years. The characters portrayed in his art come “alive” and convey powerful stories of struggle, love and triumph.

Oma is also a skilled poet and social commentator; he has exhibited in Lagos, London and South Africa. His works are in the possession of a select group of faithful collectors around the world. His works were acquired for the collection of the King of Morocco during a State visit to Nigeria.

This studio exhibition includes a selection of works over the last 12 years (2013 -2025) in multiple mediums - including oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas and charcoal on paper.

The exhibition runs from 9th until the 16th of December and holds at Red Door Gallery, 51b Bishop Oluwole , Victoria Island . by @reddoorng
