Took the RX8 out to summit point again for the @machvmotorsports track cross. Finished 2nd in class in both heats, finishing 9 hundredths of a second off of 1st in the last heat. Had a ton of fun and also learned how to drift the RX8 on the skid pad. by @reddoritoboy

Round 4 of the @wdcr_scca solo season complete, and it was a successful one. I got my best result of 2nd place, finishing behind first by 6 tenths of a second. While I’m still a ways off from the leaders, I’m slowly closing the gap to them every event and we’re making good progress, especially considering the years of experience they have over me. Overall a successful weekend and I’m looking forward to the last event in October. by @reddoritoboy

Round 1 of the @wdcr_scca Solo championship complete ✅. Finished P3 out of 7 in the STX class. Rain halfway through our heat really threw off my chances, as I got 3 dry runs while p2 and p1 got 4 dry runs. I think p2 was definitely possible if we had that 4th run. Still very satisfied with p3 as it’s only my first race, and am looking forward to Round 3 in July by @reddoritoboy

Level 2 @wdcr_scca Autocross school complete. Had a great time and learned so much, both about general racing, and how to extract the most I can out of the RX8, ending as one of the fastest on track. Once again, the car drove amazing, and got plenty of compliments from myself and the instructors that drove it. Thank you to Brian Garfield for running a great program, and to all the instructors and other drivers that gave me advice and helped me improve. Looking forward to the first DC region Autocross next weekend to see how we compete with everyone. taken in Summit Point Motorsports Park by @reddoritoboy
