JULY ALREDDY!?! We’re back in town for another month! Somehow we’re already halfway through the year, and we’ve got another month packed with runs, walks, and some epic collabs 🤜🏼🤛🏽This month, there are plenty of opportunities to move with us:☀️ 9 Monday/Wednesday morning runs🌙 2 fortnightly evening runs🏃🏼‍♀️ 1 monthly long run a Saturday 26th⛰️ Take on the hills with the crew at The WUU2K on 18 JulyThis month sees us welcome our new friends at @elitesuppswellingtonnz and welcome back our mates at Hutt City Pools and Fitness 🫶🏽And don’t worry, we’ve still got our favourites along for the ride. Safety first, always ✨As the mornings stay dark and our community grows we’re introducing a couple of ways to make our whānau feel even more safer and supported.🦺 Our run lead will now be wearing a Reddy to Run hi-vis, making it easy for new faces (and anyone with questions!) to know who to find before we head off.🏃 Reddy to Run Sweepers. Towards the end of the run, our sweepers will head back towards the final 2km loop, find the rest of our whānau, and run the final stretch in together 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽Want to help? We’d love more sweepers! Once you’ve finished your run, grab the spare hi-vis from beside the Reddy to Run sign and go find our whānau! Looking out for each other has always been part of who we are. We’re incredibly humbled to share that Reddy to Run has been named a Hutt City Finalist in the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards 2026!In March of 2025, we dreamed of building a community where people felt safe, supported, and welcome to show up exactly as they are. Seeing that vision come to life each week through every friendship, every conversation, and every run together has been more than we could have hoped for 🥹This recognition belongs to every volunteer, run leader, sponsor, partner, and member who has been part of our whānau.
