I know I’ve been quiet for a little while, but have been cooking up a new project that I’ll have for you very soon. In the meantime, sharing some live offerings over the next few weeks as a holiday treat.

The winter is peak creative time for me, something about the cold, the rain, brings out all the feels (and reminds me of England for a short moment in California).

2025 Dates for your calendar:
✨Oakland Songwriter Circle @groundfloorclub, Jan 22
❤️Oakland Unplugged Open Mic, Feb 14
🎤San Fran, Secret Show, Feb 8 @thedentalkshow

A little bit about the artists:

Ian Santillano is a Filipino-American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer whose genre-blurring sound weaves together alternative R&B, neo-soul, indie, folk, jazz, and funk. With virtuoso guitar work, soulful vocals, and emotions-bared songwriting, Ian creates intimate performances that explore identity, growth, love, and healing.

SundaY is an Oakland-based singer, songwriter, and performer whose music blends contemporary R&B, soul, and hip-hop influences with effortless vocal warmth and emotional honesty. Her smooth, expressive style and captivating stage presence bring together soulful melodies, thoughtful lyricism, and an unmistakable authenticity.

Nytesia Ross is an award-winning poet and storyteller who has performed nationwide, from New York to California, including at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Her work has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and at Stanford’s World House Documentary Film Festival. She has also spoken at notable events, including one honoring Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

redella is a UK-born, Oakland-based singer-songwriter creating soulful alternative music that blends acoustic storytelling with angelic tones, emotional textures, and always a twist in the tale . Drawing on experiences performing from London’s underground music scene to the Bay Area, she crafts songs that are intimate, powerful, and rich with emotion.

Jawno is a soul singer-songwriter with roots in San Francisco, Texas, and Nigeria. Through uplifting songs that blend soul, storytelling, and heartfelt conviction, he invites audiences to imagine a world where we care more deeply for one another and for the planet we all call home. taken in San Francisco, California by @redella.music

We had the most magical night playing some new material at @theweb.artists X @press_club in San Francisco.

The way they honor and cherish the artists and audience was something else and left us with the warm and fuzzies. And lots of new friends ❤️

Love to @sipc.lub who played with me, @rydelape on sound and everything musical, @cynthiashi_ and @jozyshoots and @jo___mar for the photos!

My fellow performers: @loketamba, @syd_and_i and @elijahmalikofficial you killed it ✨
