As this year comes to a close, we’re incredibly grateful for the support, compassion, and generosity of our community. For eight years we’ve worked together to give vulnerable dogs a second chance at life, and we’ve rescued close to 5,000 along the way. Your kindness keeps this mission alive. As we step into a new year, please consider adopting, fostering, or donating every action makes an impact, and every dog deserves a safe, loving home. Donations made before the end of the year may be eligible for a charitable tax receipt, so it’s a perfect time to give if you’re able. Your support fuels rescue missions, medical care, and finding loving homes and we’ll make sure you receive a receipt for any contribution. Thank you for standing with us and helping us continue this life-saving work. 🐾 #toronto #dogrescue by @redemptionpaws

💚💛 Sign up to foster!

There are so many benefits to fostering dogs!

Looking to make an impact? A foster saves THREE lives. You save the dog in your care, you open up a foster placement for our rescue partners and also another spot in the shelter.

Fosters are absolutely eligible and encouraged to adopt. And in fact as a foster you apply internally and already have most of the prerequisites in place! Fostering is a great way to really get to know a new dog, especially if you are adding them as a second or third pet!

Looking to adopt in the next few years? Start fostering now to build your skill with all types of dogs and personalities. You will learn along side a community of likeminded fosters!

Apply, get interviewed, get matched with your dream dog, get training, pick up your dog and we provide vetting and supplies while the dog is in foster care! Apply now redemptionpaws.org/foster

Chimney needs a foster & sponsor by Oct 3🚨

Chimney is the son of one of our alumni, Bunn! He and his siblings were found when they were small babies and all have found homes except for him and one of his sisters. He’s such a happy go lucky chill guy. He loves people, loves dogs no matter the size, has met cats and has been cautious and hid behind people to keep his distance, is medium energy and enjoys a balance in life (equal parts walks and couch cuddles), and he’s doing great in the crate, on leash etc. He is 60lbs and was born May 2025.

Rowan is dog friendly, loves all people, and is doing well with introductions to all training. Please help her before October 3!
